Welcome to my Tudor Dress Page !  I hope that you enjoy your visit.

My obsession with the Tudor period began with Philippa Gregory’s “The Other Boleyn Girl”.  Since that reading, I’ve been a literature pig—reading any and all history from that period—feel free to email me with any good reads that you might know about.

To the right you will see my first Tudor project.

I am currently researching a new gown—and this diary will encompass my struggles !

First fabric—I like green and settled on Popinjay Green as referenced in multiple resources. Below is an undocumented Tudor era picture of the green I will be using as well as a scrap of documented Italian Silk from the same era.
