Four more years of the dumbass.....
Well folks, (heh, he's rubbing off) I'm in the same boat at you.  Where the fuck do we go from here?  What happened?  Did Kerry do something wrong?  Is it the system?  What the hell is going to happen now that he is fucking king?

What happened?
Kerry and the dems got their asses handed to them.  That's what.  No question.  51% of the vote and a huge popular vote gap overall.  To be blunt, it wasn't even close.  My observations have lead me to conclude the simple fact: Voting Bush was the Christian thing to do.  So sad but that's what happened.  In the end the evangelical dumbasses came through.  I can't explain to you how many people share the belief of not voting for a president that supports abortion or gay marriage.  That was it!  Two issues that pale in comparison became the deciding factors.
Ok, for those of you who actually believe that gay marriage and abortion are issues that George Bush cared about I point to these factors:  The only abortion action he took was to try to get the partial birth abortion act passed, which he did.  HOWEVER, it was later found unconstitutional and removed because it failed to provide a clause for protection of the mother under health circumstances.  Remember the gay marriage amendment? Neither do I.  That's because it never got out of the senate.  Look the man did nothing.  Perhaps effort or intentions where enough.  Oddly enough safety wasn't that big an issue.  And even more odd was that the states that were closest to danger on the coast and that had been attacked went to Kerry. It was those states that were far away and didn't have a clue that were supporting the notion that the dumbass was keeping us safe.  I find it hysterical that someone would claim he is keeping us safe.  Remember the Madrid bombing, the 2 Russian attacks.  But, of course, if it isn't terrorism on our soil then it doesn't matter.  Will someone please explain to me why no one had a problem w/ the good cop bad cop theme?  They would send the boogey man dick Cheney ahead to tell everyone that a bomb is on its way and that a biological weapon can be anywhere, then like the freaking lone ranger send Bush in to remind everyone about how he has kept us safe for the last three years.  Remind me again what happened during the Clinton years....that's right, NOTHING.  For eight years nothing happened.  By his logic we should bring him back if we really wanted to be safe.  It's like that old saying absence of proof is not proof of absence.  But, those hard core Christians bought every word.

Did Kerry Do Something Wrong?

No.  The man stuck to his guns, which is incredibly ironic since the republicans spent so much time saying he was 'flip-flopping'.  As mentioned before, he was pro-choice and supported gay rights.  Essentially you could argue he played right into the cards of their [republicans] campaign strategy.  A liberal senator from the north has no chance of swaying the southern vote.  In a vote where ideological ideas where front and center, his tendency to essentially go against the majority of every major religion struck a cord.  Catholics, conservative Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc. they all in their majority don't indorse these liberal ideas.  So I would like to ask the Democratic Party if it was really realistic to expect people to go against their religion.  Obviously, no.  If you could imagine a more 'conservative' democrat who didn't support such liberal ideas as abortion and gay rights or at the very least to such an extreme left extent, then the vote would have dramatically swung the other way.  In the end, it is my opinion that Kerry was simply a victim of being himself and being honest.
We can't, however, say the same thing about our good friend the dumbass.  How many times did we here the subject of how Bush prays a lot, or is a devout follower of the bible, or my personal favorite of how his faith 'guides' him.  Give me a fucking break.  It was known early on that this campaign was going to be more about getting each parties base out to vote more than swaying any undecided.  He knew the key to generating a stir was to play the religion card.  The same retards that voted for Bush are the same retards that ballooned the box office sales of 'The Passion' to 300million.  Let's not underestimate the sunshine quality that the Christian people have in this country.  We all know they really don't care about what goes on in the world or for that matter what goes on in this country as long as they can live their daily lives in peace.  But when something comes up from the blue to where some preacher or evangelical leader tells them they need to unite...man look out.  I compare this to how the black community refuses to unite to denounce the gangster and ignorant image that has been bestowed upon them but yet any time it even appears that a black person is being treated poorly by a white officer then all hell brakes loose and the NAACP isn't far away.  In other words, people only show up when there is glory involved.  That way you can be sure to say, "I saw the Passion." or "I voted Bush, now we can get rid of abortion."  It is very troubling when a populous starts choosing its leaders based on faith issues.  Troubling, but very easy to accomplish.  Bush knew this.  No, Kerry's only mistake was being himself.  Would he have made a better president? We'll never know.  49% of the eligible voters seem to have thought so.  Is Kerry the better man?  Damn straight.

Is it the System?

A lot was made of the melee that erupted from the 2000 election.  I don't have to go into the specifics of what happened.  I think the system 'worked' in this election.  I say 'worked' because you can't blame the system if people are the ones manipulating it.  As before mentioned what the GOP did was play on people religeous emotional commitments.  The electoral college was designed with the knowledge that the populous can be easily swayed.  And this election that is exactly what happened, the populous was easily swayed.  Now it is extremely important to point out that no change would have made a difference in the outcome of the election.  So I don't blame the system.  In the 2000 campaign definetly, but this year, little if any.  The people aren't the system, and the administration isn't the system. and those are the faults.

What the hell is going to happen now that is fucking king?
Let's get one think clear, crystal clear, the man is KING.  No one man has yielded such power in the US since Roosevelt and even then I feel it pales in comparison.  On what facts do I base these assertions you ask.  This is easily answered.  The Senate, The House, The Supreme Court, The Pentagon, The CIA, and lets not forget the majority of the electorate.  Case in point: He is no longer the president but the king.  With such power what does one do?  In order to even stand a remote chance at challenging the electorate, which is the only object of the before mentioned that can be altered, one would have to battle an entire religion.  I do not see this taking place. I fear baring another grave mistake on his part, and even then he could potentially side step it again, we have no other option than to wait out these four years and push forward a new more intelligent leader.  Our objective must be now to pounce on every mistake and be there ready to scream 'I told you so' at every mistake and flaw.  And trust me, there will be many.  9/11 is not three years past.  How much longer can he continue to blame all that has happened on the occurrences of that fateful day?  One thing he cannot run from is the growing deficit.  Although both candidates' plans seemed obscure at best it is unquestionable that the Bush plan has failed, is failing, and will continue to fail.  We must be ready to propose new ideas and have prepared a turnaround plan that is legitimate that America can believe.  Coupled with the economic woes that have come and will continue to come is the matter the current state of the military.  Disorganized, poorly lead, overstretched. Under funded, all these are factors that will lead to more grumblings in the military.  As far fetched as the idea might seem, there is a chance that the military becomes the faction of the US that truly loses patience with this administration.  We've all heard the rumors of the defense department being annoyed with the actions and attitude of Rumsfield.  These factors could conspire against the administration and evolve into its greatest nemesis.  More likely than not this is wishful thinking, but a point that needs to be made none the less.
The quintessential point to be made here is that the movement against the administration must now mature from the griping and complaining of the obvious faults and evolve into a true checks and balance to the absurdities of the administration.
