| This movie was surprisingly entertaining. You kind of got the feeling it could be some dumb teen movie but it wasn't. It was sort of a cross between the 6th sense and some x-files episode. The premise of the movie is that Austin Kocher can return back to the past and alter the future my manipulating his memories. He does this by going "into" his journal logs that he kept ever since he was a kid. Of course, if the Simpson's Halloween specials have taught us anything it is that time travel never works the way we think. And that's the jist of it. It remains entertaining through out and even has some funny points. It does a really good job of character building and its cool how the characteristics of the characters are manipulated but still retains some core traits as the past is altered. The finality of the movie is very closing. This is good. How many alright to good movies have lost some major points because of a shitty ending? Good date movie. There are lots of subjects to discuss on a not so serious and serious level. |
