| Tiger Wang Out for the 2001 Season 5/9/01 Ouryanks.com has learned that Chien-Ming "Tiger" Wang will miss the 2001 season due to a shoulder injury which will eventually lead to surgery. Not much is known about the injury and we will try to bring you further information in the up coming weeks. Tiger is rated as the 13th best prospect in the Yankee organiztion by Baseball America. The 20-year-old Taiwanese righthander went 4-4 with a 2.48 ERA in 87 innings in his debut season after signing for a $1.9 million bonus. |
