As You can see SELVAPIANA is located in a baricentric position.From here You will be able to reach all the most important and artistic place of this region . PISA : The famous town of the Leaning Tower (20 min by car) LIVORNO (Leghorn) : a relatively unknown city of Tuscany, famous most for its seaport (20 min ,see map below) FLORENCE : center of Italian Reinassance (50 min by car) LUCCA : a real jewel (70 min by car) SIENA : you won't believe this city is real.

LIVORNO (Leghorn) . It is weel known for its seaport, built by the Medici. The famous ship Vespucci is visible in the nearby of the Naval Academy. The features of Livorno are quite  different from the typical Middle Age town of the inner Tuscany.  People of Livorno are seamen, merchants. Livorno is a city "spread" for almost 60 Km along the sea. Some of the most beautiful  seashores of Tuscany are very close to the city

 

Between Livorno and Pisa On a smaller scale you wll be able to enjoy small villages in the nearby of Livorno or Pisa. Some beautiful seasides are very close (search CALAFURA in the map on the left).
