Currently teaching advanced microeconomics in the Economic Department. Before joining Akdeniz University, used to teach microeconomics and structure of Turkish economy in the undergraduate program and computable general equilibrium models and environmental and natural resource economics in the post graduate program.
Leading the Policy Analysis and Modeling Group (PAMG) in the Economic Research Centre on Meditterranean Countries.
Has worked as a consultant in various national/international projects and currently co-ordinating two projects financed by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.
Research interests include applied policy analysis, agriculture-macroeconomy-environment interactions, rural poverty and sustainable development.
