1. How long has Inhuman Dissiliency been together?
first of all, thanks for the interview bro. you
fucking rule! inhuman dissiliency has been together
for about 2 1/2 years. well this is at least how long
we have been playing with the drum machine. we had
actually started writing together long before this.
but i'd say that when the drum machine was purchased,
we really started then. thats at least when the
material was finally being put into song format. at
this point we were pretty eager to get out and start
playing some shows.
2. Why the drum machine? Does using a drum machine
seem to have more advantages when writing your music,
or Was finding a drummer just too difficult?
well bro, we use the drum machine because we wanted so
badly to get started with the band that we felt like
there was really no choice at the time. we had tried
out drummers, but none of them really had what we were
looking for. so, even thought we didn't really want
to, we ended up with the drum machine. but would
gladly stop if someone came along that could take the
position for us. and as for writing, it was at first
hard to write with it, due to the fact that i can't
drum for shit and don't really have a fucking clue
what i am doing, but after awhile things got a bit
easier. i wouldn't say its easier to write with but
the studio becomes much easier. haha! never need a
second take on the drums.
3. Are your vokills synthisized at all? They are ultra
fucking guttural!
no. we have never used any kind of vocal processors.
all the vocals that have ever been added to our songs
have been 100% natural. not that we have any problem
with people using them. its just not for us.
4. Name 5 major influences of your music.
the whole fucking metal scene is an influence to me in
some way or other. as for bands, i'd have to say for
me off the top of my head, my biggest influence is
devourment. some others are suffocation, vomit
remnants, early napalm death, and as of lately,
fucking sick ass disconformity!
5. Name 5 CD's that you are currently diggin' on.
bro, this here is a tough one. i end up listening to
so many cds daily, that its a bitch to narrow them
down to 5 good ones. but i will name you the first 5
that come to mind. devourments molesting the
decapitated, saprogenics demo cd-r, disconformitys
demo cd-r, guttural secretes artistic creation with
cranial stumps, and carnivore diprosopus's filled my
stomach with a pregnants corpse.
6. What does ID drink?
kool aid. haha!!!
7. How is the scene in Pennsylvania?
its pretty much sucks ass. not many death metal bands
here at all. at least not in central pennsylvania.
there are a few, but we mainly only have a shitload of
thrash and melodic death metal here. in which i'm not
really a big fan of those styles of metal. very little
shows too. you pretty much need to travel a good
distance to see death metal shows. but its all worth
it!
8. Tell us about one of your best gigs ever.
i love them all! i love to play live. wouldn't matter
to me if everyone had left us there alone. i'd still
be playing just as if the room was packed. to narrow
it down to my favorite, i'd have to say the show we
played in reading, pa at the silo. the only reason
this one was any better then the rest is simply
because everyone who showed up were really friendly
with us. most of the time you at least get one asshole
who just can't keep his or her feelings to themselves.
and feel like it is their duty to kick you down. but
not there. everyone was real supportive of us, even
though we didn't have a drummer. that normally makes
it pretty hard to keep people interested. seems as
soon as they find out the band has no drummer, its bye
bye, tell me when they are done playing. they don't
even stick around to hear the first song. but then
again, its probably best that they leave just so that
the people that stick around have more room to kill
each other. haha!!
9. Tell us about your worst gig ever. (We've all had
one so don't lie, LOL)
man, i'll tell you what, we had a shitload of these.
not because of people or anything. we had a series of
shows that everytime we started playing, something
would stop playing. guitar would turn off, pa would
stop working, drum machine would cut out. man i love
to play and when this shit happens it really pisses me
off! haha! it hasn't happened for a while. hopefully
it won't happen ever again. all in all though, even
when this shit has happened, people have still been
real good to us. we love them for it too! brutal death
metal fans are the sickest in the world! and at the
end of the night, even though things have completely
gone wrong, i still have my band members. those guys
are the best! cause it always seemed to be the fucking
guitar that would be having the problems. haha! sorry
about that guys.
