| interview with andrew of northern brutality webzine. |
Could you give us a little bio of Inhuman Dissiliency?
inhuman originated after the break-up of our old band, perpetual dismemberment. shawn, brian, and myself were all in the band. brian was away during the break up of the band. shawn and i wanted to continue playing. so we got a drum machine, and began to program the drum beats. brian came back, and filled the position of the frontman. recently, brian had decided to move, so we are currently down a member. i have moved to the vocal postion, and we are looking for a replacement bassist.
Obviously Devourment is a major influence for you guys (breakdowns, etc), what are some of your other musical influences in Inhuman Dissiliency?
Some of my influences have to be bands like artery eruption, guttural secrete, and vomit remnants
What is the scene like in Pennsylvania? Any other sick bands you guys dig?
we have a few bands like circle of dead children that are floating around pennsylvania. but as far as central pennsylvania goes, our scene is pretty quiet. we have a few buddies who are working on their own projects, but generally metalheads are hard to come by.
What will the next Inhuman Dissiliency release be like? and any idea on when it will be available?
We recorded an ep, but were going to go back and re-record it with the new vocals.
The artwork on your demo and on the website is really fucking gory and sick, how important is the matching of sick imagery with your music?
Very important. We try to keep an artistic view with everything we do, and obviously we love our art gory as fuck. It just wouldnt have the same effect if we were bullshitting everyone with flowers and rainbows and shit.
The drummachine sounds really brutal on your demo, are you guys planning to stick with the drummachine or pick up a real drummer at some point?
we would like to have a real drummer, but like i said before, central pa doesnt have much of a scene, therefore we have no drummers.
Outside of playing brutal death metal, what else do you guys do for fun?
not much. haha! I play bass in a metalcore band, try to go to shows whenever I can, hang out with my buddies, work on tattoo designs, shit like that.
Heres an easy one, what cds have you been blasting lately?
ive been listening to some guttural secrete, artery eruption, vomit remnants, some local hardcore bands such as as tradition ends.
Well that wraps it up, thanks a lot for the interview and keep it fucking sick! Any last comments?
ya dude anytime, thanks for the interview!
