Other possible body mods include:
Surface: A body mod that doesn't go through a tissue like a piercing through your lobe, etc. An anti-eyebrow is a surface piercing, the entrance and exit holes are on the same side. A surface piercing rests under the skin, other examples include arm piercings, forehead, neck, nape of neck (back), etc
Cutting: Is the literal cutting of the skin with a scapel, or some kind of cutting tool, to remove layers of skin to create a 'cut'/indented look, similar to scarring where both is aimed at creating a scar, but they're different in HOW you achieve the end result
Scarring: Scarring, like cutting, is that in the end you have a scar that makes a different kind of none-colored 'tattoo'. Scarring is different than cutting in that, you use some what of a cow branding method to make scares in the skin. A hot 'poker' (as I like to call it) is heated and place on the skin to form the desired affect. You can also do scarring with acid and other chemicals, but I would only go to a properly trained professional for that, or pretty much any of the above.
