![]() Anything is possible with ears. Besides what they have there on the diagram at the bottom of this screen, there is much else you can do. Along with a lot of negative stuff that can result from stretching too fast, to ripping the hole, but there are some very beautiful things you can do to a simple body part like your ear! Dermal Punch: This is a tool that kind of looks like a green pen (all dermal punches I've seen are green), with the top being oddly shaped. This thing is a little cutter, that cuts out your skin, a little circle, anything from 14G all the way to 00G. This is suppose to be extremely good for piercings, especically cartilage. This reduces the pressure on the piercing by just removing the area you want a hole in out. Guns crush, needles help reduce that, and dermal punch puts a permenant hole in you. If you think you may want to want to switch between gauges I don't recommend dermal punch to you inless you are sure you want THIS size (if it's a large gauge you're aiming for and may change your mind down the future I wouldn't go with this option). Scalpelling: Like dermal punch this tends to be more permenant than piercing with a needle and slowly stretching. Scalpelling means you take a scalpel and cut the hole so it's bigger. Both this and dermal punch, at least to me, sound very painful. Healing Takes (lobe): About 1 month Healing Takes (cartilage): 4 or more months ![]() Thanks to BME for above picture. ![]() |
