![]() Title: Another “Hand”-y Day in Art Class Author: Stephanie Complications: Yes, it wouldn’t really go through the bottom End Result: I don’t know yet, I just did it today Happy with the Result: Hell yea, me and a friend both did it Date Done: May 14 2004 Story: For the past couple days now in my Grade 11 Art class, we have been piercing people. I pierced my guy friends nipple yesterday and his ear today. People have been thinking that it’s so cool that I’ve practically turned our art class into a piercing parlor. I think so myself. So since the day I pierced my friends nipple, I’ve been thinking about piercing my hand webbing (it’s the space in between your thumb and pointer finger). So today, I got up the courage to pierce it. I tried for at least 2 minutes to get the needle through the other side but it was so hard. Once I finally did that, I took it out and tried to put an earring through it, that did not work. So my other friend got me a small safety pin that I just shoved through and closed it up. It burned for a little bit but I didn’t mind the pain. I’m surprised my teacher didn’t care, all he said was “We all got to make sacrifices someday”. The whole time before I pierced it and a bit after I was shaking so bad. For every other piercing I’ve got I never did, but probably because I did this myself. Anyway, after my friends struggling to get hers done, we were all finished, we call piercing ourselves our “bonding time” yea, we are weird like that. All day people were asking me to look at it. So my hand webbing is my 20th piercing. I was the first person in my school to get it, I was also the first to get my lip done. ![]() Needle: Sewing needle Gauge: probably a 1.2 mm Purchased: A long time ago Cost: I don't know Jewelry: Safety pin for now, but I’m going to use a hoop or an eyebrow ring Gauge: 1.5 mm maybe Purchased: I don't know Cost: Free Aftercare: Contact solution Purchased: I don't know Cost: Free TOTAL COST: Free ![]()
