Title: First Attemt to Pierce My Lip

Story: Okay I had wanted to pierce my lip on the right side for a while now.I visited this website and I must say it helped alot.I have my tongue pierced(vert) and my lip done in the middle;both of those being profesionally done.I want the snake bite,for those who dont know what that is: Snake Bite=when your lip is pierce on the right and left.I wanted this done so badly I just had to try myself.
I knew I could pierce it myself to I began the numbing process.First I put 2 ice cubes in a ziplock bag and put one cube in my mouth where I wanted to numb it;and the 2nd ice cube on the outside of my lip.I had left it numbing for about 10-15 minutes(I wont lie it can get really irretating but it works.)After My the right side of my lip was semi-numb I cleaned off everything I would be using:Regular sewing needle,cork,curved barbell(very small 16 gauge),rubber gloves,and got a napkin ready.I walked upstairs to my parents room,determined as ever and stood in front of their mirror...
I sprayed Dermoplast on my lips.Dermoplast is actually mostly used to numb a cut or sun burn,Well needless to say it worked really well.Now my lip was really numb I had marked a spot with a permanent marker earlier where I wanted it.So I place the needle on the outside and placed the cork on the inside.I loked at myself and started pushing at first lightly then a quick little jolt then harder and it had went all the way through I heard a quick snap and I knew I had succeded.Ona scale from 1-10 id say it hurt about a 2.Didnt hurt at all really.
Anyways to skip along all the other useless shit I did In the end .It wasnt sucessful, the spot was perfect but I just couldnt get the ring in all the way through.I tried and tried again but I got easily frustrated.Next time Ill get it through.Casue now that I know it doesnt urt and that I can do it ilol try it again.I actually recommend doing it yourself,even though I failed this time the pain factor is what I look for also.I dont mind pain but im getting off subject arent I.Well to end it all the whole thing wasnt that bad ill do it again and tell all you kiddies about it.Til next piercing,later much!
