Title: First time, and pain free! (cartilege)

Complications: The needle was literally stuck in my ear, otherwise there were none :D
End Result: It doesn't even hurt as much as the lobes did, but I'm not 100% satisfied with the spot I chose though :P

Date Done: 2 days ago as of May 15th 04
Story: So about 2 months later after getting 2 more holes done in each ear, I looked and realized it still looked pretty blah. There was nothing on my cartilege except for my ear cuff, which was starting to become a pain. I see people passing by with tons of piercings, especially the cartilege. And most of them said they did it themselves. I wanted one, but was afraid of the pain and my parents reaction.
But after a while the thought totally controlled my mind. So after doing some research and gathering some stories from other people, I was pretty much convinced that I was going to do it. So finally when the chance came, I jacked a needle and some ice. Numbed my ear until it was almost blue (ugh..) And pushed the needle through. I didn't even realize it went through the first layer. When it got to the bone [there aren't bones in the fleshy part of the ear, it's all tissue], thats where it became annoying. No matter how hard I pushed it just didn't want to go thorugh, as well as that last layer. Finally when it did, I tried to take out the needle but it was stuck, which freaked me out a bit. It took me a while to get it out, but I managed. I got the earring, and stuck it through. Now the first layer was easy to do, but getting past that was extremely difficult. I pushed so goddamn hard, I thought it was never going to go through. But I gave it a shove and I heard it go through my ear (a little disturbing, but yay :D). And the best thing about it was it didn't hurt totally, and there was NO blood. None! Which was pretty surprising, considering how much blood came out from my lobes last time...
It looks good, but one's not enough XD I want to get another one. Along with that, I want my left ear done so that I can stick a barbell through it. Gotta buy a barbell though.. Parents reaction? They havn't noticed yet ^^ I guess this is pretty similar to the other cartilege piercing story o.o;
