![]() Title: Easy, Breezy, Beautiful third ear hole (How corny was that?) Author: Sara Complications: None End Result: So far so good, no problems with it Happy with the Result: HELL YEAH, It looks better than when I got it done professionally and was a helluva lot cheaper too Date Done: Saturday December 13 2003 Story: On Saturday I was really bored and it was storming outside. I had wanted to pierce my ears for the longest time, I had one hole in my left ear and 2 in my right, I wanted to do three in my right and leave the one in my left. I had gotten a sewing needle from my moms sewing box and cleaned it throughly B/C I am the biggest germ freak ever and I DO NOT want the piercings to get infected. I took the needle and soaked it in bleach, the kind u wash Ur clothes with on occasion(lol) and left it in there for 5 minutes since bleach almost kills everything (not all, almost all). I took the needle out and ran it under water for a few minutes and then washed it with soft soap in my hand three times, just to be sure I got ALL the bleach and germs off (I know this does not get all the germs off...)cause bleach is toxic....if u try this make sure u really clean it afterwards do not just stick it in Ur ear....lol. After I got done with the soap and water I put the needle in a clean paper towel and went upstairs to my bathroom. When I got to the bathroom I laid the needle out of the paper towel and then soaped it up once more before laying it in some alcohol, I let it sit in it for 5 minutes and then did it again just to make sure (I told u I am a germ freak which was why I was surprised I actually went through with this lol). I had grabbed some ice when I was downstairs and I held it to my ear for 3 minutes, after that I took some ear swabs soaked them in alcohol and cleaned my ear, I picked up the needle and stuck it to my ear, couldn't feel it so I jammed it in, I could feel it poking out the back!! I couldn't believe how easy an painless not to mention it was. After I got the needle in I then slid it out put the earring in, this was a little harder but only took a minute or so... Fast forward a few hours I was so happy. I then got the bright Idea to do my other ear, my left one so I had two in it instead Of one. I did it, and it was easy as the first one, maybe a tad harder because I had a blunt tipped earring so I had to do some pushing and shoving to get it in but overall it looked better then when I got it done at Claire's, I am now against piercing guns and the dumb ass bitches that can't pierce worth shit at Claire's, not saying I am a pro cause I'm not...lol. (They kept doing it uneven thats why I only had 2 in the right ear and 1 in the left ear I just decided it looked kinda cool with one missing lol) ![]() Needle: Sewing Needle Gauge: 20 Purchased: n/a, got it out of my moms sewing shit but prolly got it at Wal-mart, K-mart where ever Cost: $0 Jewelry: Earrings Gauge: 20 Purchased: Claire's Cost: n/a I already had them but when I did get them it cost like 5 dollars for 8 pairs of earrings Aftercare: Alcohol and Claire's ear care antiseptic rinse Purchased: Claire's Cost: $8, but again I bought it a long time ago and already had it TOTAL COST: $0 dollars but if u wanna get technical then it was around 13 dollars ![]()
