Title: My first piercing thats actually complete! (cartilage)
Author: Sabrina
Complications: Crooked, so I had to pierce it again couple of times, but no biggie!
End Result: Healing
Happy with the Result: Yes!
Date Done: Aug. 17th, 2003
Story: I dont know why, but I had this fake cartilage piercing on, and I lost my fake "jewelry" so I decided to pierce it myself. First I iced it and disinfected it with rubbing alcohal, etc. and it did go through, but when I was trying to put jewlery in, it didn't go in. So few weeks later, I decided to try again, and this time I went in with a sewing needle only a little bit, and then I tried shuving a jewlery in there. To my surprise, it worked. It was really really gross, because I heard the jewlery going through my ear, so if you're icky on noises of something going through (especially at the end where you hear this BIG pop) I suggest you not doing this. lol.
