Story: Ok, I got my needle on friday. I had my friend come over and I tried to do mine w/out ice or anything... Well, it hurt like a bi@ch, so I stopped and my friend was like... ooh do it on mine and then do it on yourself so you'll be more confident... I did hers and it just grossed me out. I kept trying though, the needle just wouldn't go through all the way... I tried saturday as well... and this morning. I didn't get far... well I had an idea, I decided that it was time to get the ice out.
I put the needle and the jewelery in boiling water, then I sat in front of my computer and left the ice on my stomache for about 20 min's, while I was reading about other self piercing. Finally, I couldn't even feel the COLD of the ice. So I took the needle and jewelery and went to the bathroom, so I wouldn't be disturbed (my room doesn't have a lock).
I locked the door and shoved the needle through. WOW! my belly button was pierced w/ no pain what so ever. Now I tried to shove the needle ALL the way through the other end... but then the ice started wearing off and it was starting to sting. well the needle was in me and I didn't have the guts to push harder to get the whole thing out of me from the other end... So I pulled it out and I stuck the jewelery in. It went in quiet easily, then my mom came and asked what I was doing. I said I was about to go take a shower and I did.
Well it's 8:32 right now and I'm only feeling a lil stinging sensation type of thing... like when you just get your ears pierced.. except less painfull.... this thing rocks :)
