Story: Okey day! I really really wanted my septum pierced, but my parents wouldn't let me have it done. Evil... anyway, I just decided to do it myself. I read up on it a little, and found out exactly where you're supposed to pierce it (this thin piece of skin between your nostrils).

I bought an 18G ring at PacSun, and found an 18G sewing needle. We had one just lying around the house. Hehe... I cleaned the needle off a little, and poked around inside my nose for a couple minutes. My eyes were watering kind of bad, but oh well. I just stuck the needle in, which was kind of tough, but soon enough I heard this little popping noise, and the needle went through, nice and easy. I pulled it through a few times before I put the ring in. Getting the damn ring in was hard.... but once I got it in (which took about five minutes) I spent a half hour or so trying to get the balls on. Luckily, My boyfriend arrived in the knick of time to help me! the end!
