Complications: The first time it got infected….bad… when I repierced it every thing was fine and the second cartilage piercing I broke my hoop trying to get it through
End Result: It took a while to heal (my first cartilage piercing) cuz I kept messing wit it and changing the earring. I just did it (my second cartilage piercing) so it’s still healing

Date Done: The first one 3 days before x-mas and when I repierced it was some time after a friends b-day in april and my second one Sept. 7th
Story: The first time my best friend did hers and I thought that it looked cool and I was a lil hesitant about doing it. I thought it was going to hurt really bad, but she said that it didn’t so I trusted her, her being my best friend and all, to do it.
She got a stub from her mom’s room and got a safety pin we didn’t numb it or anything and I was clawing her thinking that it was going to hurt and I didn’t even know that it went it in. It didn’t hurt at all until she put the earring in. My mom kinda got scared she really didn’t care, but she said that she wished that I asked her first. It started to get really really infected cuz we didn’t clean anything and the infecting spread all the way down to the side of my jaw so I took it out on x-mas.
I got the idea to do it again cuz one of my other best friends got his ears pierced 2 more times and I was bored after school so I took a hot safety pin and I started off slow and it hurt too much and then I just shoved it through really fast and then put a stub in it. It got infected again, but not as bad so I kept it in it took a really long time to heal. I just pierced my cartilage again and I did the same thing, but I couldn’t get the earring in and I broke my hoop trying to put it in so I just put in a stub till it heals. It bled though, but not a lot. I pierced a friends ear and hit a vain before and it was gushing blood but that’s another story... so I just cleaned it up with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. It hurt more than my first one for some reason, but it isn’t infected yet (yay!)
