![]() Title: First Time Offender Author: Allan Complications: Finding the back hole, but after awhile it became easier End Result: Its been 5 weeks and its doing just fine Happy with the Result: Im really glad I did it myself Date Done: Jan. 25, 2004 Story: Well my parents would freak out if they found out so I had to do it in secret. First, I took a regular sewing needle from my moms sewing kit and burned it with the stove. I went to my garage and took some fishing line from my dads tackle box. Then I threaded the needle and went upstairs to the bathroom. I took an ice cube and wrapped it in a paper towel and put it on my ear. I waited for about 20 min or maybe less for my ear to get numb then I took the needle and put it on my ear where I wanted to pierce it. I took the needle and placed it at the spot on my cartilage where I wanted it. I took the needle and started to push it through. I couldnt feel it, but the only sick thing was I could hear the needle breaking through my ear. If youve ever looked at the end of a sowing needle you can see that the end is thicker than the rest of the needle so when I got to the end it started to get complicated. I got to the point where I was pulling at the needle to get it through. My hands were slippery though from the melted ice cube and blood so it took awhile to finally get it through. Well after about 4 min. I got it through and I had the fishing line already threaded through the hole. Since I didnt have a hollow needle I figured that was the best way to do it and it was. After about a week I took some studs (I was gonna give my girlfriend but she dumped me so I kept them) and put them in. I slept with them in and wear them with my friends when I go out. I need to get some more studs, but for right now that all Ive got. Its working fine and I love my new hole. ![]() Needle: regular sowing needle Gauge: standard size I guess 20 gauge Purchased: dont know Cost: didnt buy the needle Jewelry: earrings for my girlfriend but she dumped me and I kept them Gauge: 20 Purchased: dont know Cost: $0 Aftercare: Bactine Purchased: dono Cost: $0 TOTAL COST: COST: about $10 for the earrings but a bracelet came with them :> ![]()
