Story: Ok, I've wanted my belly button pierced since I was like 12, but I could only choose either my tongue or my belly button. Since then 2 of my friends did theres themselves (they are really stupid cuz they did it like 5 times and it always gets rejected and infected cuz they don’t take care of it) I choose my tongue cuz if I ever wanted my belly done I could always do it myself.
I bought some piercing needles online. Shecoolhecool.com has hella good stuff if u have time go there. Ok on to the procedure…
I had to wait till my mom went to bed which was like 11pm. Then I had to boil two needles, a banana barbell, and a tongue barbell (I’m gonna pierce my friends tongue so I wanted to sterile it then). I set up some ribbing alcohol, peroxide, cotton swabs, and some paper towels. Fast forward a lil bit…. I pinched a lot of skin and pierced which hurt like a bitch. I couldn’t get the barbell through so I tried and pierced a lil less skin and it still wouldn’t go all the way through. Keep in mind I pierced from the bottom up. Then since doing that wasn’t working and I had to do this: I stuck the needle through the top and it took a while to get through the bottom but it went. I took the needle out after like 10min and it started bleeding at the bottom. There was already blood all on my side so it didn’t matter at the time. The barbell wasn’t goin in at first but I saw some of the silver and jammed it through. It was a lil hard to bit the bottom on cuz I put Neosporin on it and everything. I screwd it on and was prancing around cuz I did it and it was over.
