Story: I can be such a child! I saw a picture of someone who self pierced their nostril and of course, thought, "hell I can do that." So off to my medicine cabinet I go to retrieve a safety pin (no I'm not kidding, it's all I had at the time and I'm all about impulse) and some orajel. I went to my bathroom mirror, sterilized my weapon and started shuving.
I didn't have anything for a clamp so I just pushed 'till it tore through. The Orajel was very little comfort and now that its worn off I'm in some real pain! Guess I know now why I've never heard the sentence, "So I stuck some orajel up my nose and went for it!"
I must stop writing for now, as I've taken a dose of nyquil to stave off the after-pain a little. I'll write back in the near future to let everyone know the outcome. I think it looks great so far.
