“You kids have
everything that you need?”
“Yes, I think so.”
Darlita answered for all of them. I looked around to see if all my children
were together, One was missing,.
“I’m going to get
Skyla, if Stormy gets here before I get back. Just tell her to wait.” I
instructed to the ones that were waiting. The Keeper of the Storms was going to
be taking every one of my kids for one whole week! I couldn’t believe that.
I thought about it
as I headed to get my daughter.
“Skyla, it's about time
for Stormy to get here, come on, you need to be up there and waiting for her.”
“I not going!”
“You’ll be fine, it's just a couple of days.”
“No, I stay here!”
“If this is about
you going to Rainbowland and you thinking that I’m
not coming back, you're wrong, In fact, I’m going to be there the last night
doing some things with Patty, and Pink.” Skyla shook her head.
“I wait for Cuddi!”
“You can wait for
him when you come back. But you need to get up to the house right now!” The little
girl shook her head stubbornly.
“Skyla Videl if you don’t get up and start heading to the house,
I’m going to carry you.” Normally that would do the trick; she hated being
carried. Says it makes her look like a baby. Skyla just folded her arms and sat
there. Skyla then glared at me before turning her nose in the air and looked
back to where she had been looking minutes before.
“Don’t say I didn’t
warn you.” I told her, picking her up.
“Put me down!” Skyla
shouted loudly, kicking and punching, along with squirming making it difficult
for me to hold onto her.
“Skyla Videl Walker you stop it right now!” I scolded as a blow
from her fist hit my shoulder. We were half way there when she started to cough
because she was screaming so loud and hard. I set her on the ground for a
moment smacking her backside five times telling her to
stop her tantrum right that second. As I picked her up again she smacked me in
the face. I let go for a moment to grab my face, then realized she was running
back to her spot.
I ran back catching her and holding her
tightly, I quickly turned her over my knee spanking her again then picked her
up and carried her to the house.
“You sit there until
I tell you to get up!” I ordered sitting her in the chair hard enough to make a
point, but not enough to hurt her. Skyla scooted up.
“SKYLA VIDEL YOU GET OUT OF THAT SEAT AND I
PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL TAKE THE SPOON TO YOU SO HARD YOU WON’T KNOW WHAT
HAPPENED!” I warned sternly.
~Boy if she’s like
this now, Stormy’s really going to have fun, cause
she’ll be like this all week.~ I smiled to myself with
a low laugh. I then wondered what the others were going to be like. At least I
could count on at least Darlita and Tanjia being
good. If not the others. Shanda most of the time is
too, but the others forget it, they get the chance to do something they’re not supposed
to, they’ll do it. Timmy’s likely to find someone to fight; Don’t say that I
said it but I think, that actually might be a good thing to have him get his
tail whipped by a girl. I know that Lightning or Tangerine would have first
gives on that if they were permitted. Then again it might cause problems for
sure. I wouldn’t want that. I mean Rainbow’s just starting to let me into Rainbowland again, and I don’t want anything to hinder that
in anyway. I had to laugh at the inside joke at the same time though cause the
thought was kind of funny.
I knelt in front of
Skyla as the other children came into the room.
“You are to behave,
if not and one of the Color Keepers, or anyone in Rainbowland
for that matter have to punish you while you're there, you will get it here
when you get back as well. Do you understand me?” Four of my five older ones
nodded.
“I asked if it was
understood Skyla.” I spoke sternly as I sighed.
“I guess.” She said
with her nose wrinkled up. I rolled my eyes saying 'good enough' before handing
them over to Stormy. Saying 'have fun', to both groups.
