Timmy walked towards
the direction of Buddi’s room, he looked in, the door
was opened. The older cub was a sleep, he stared at the boy for a moment., he rubbed his still sore backside, He knew he was
going to feel it for a few days still. He then glared at Buddi.
“Mamma’s Boy’s a
weakling after all.” Timmy said to himself before heading back to his room
before Ursa caught him, he didn’t want to run into her yet, he wanted to wait,
and make her pay for that paddling, he then remembered the quick cars, she
would be using them soon.
He ran outside, while
hearing some type of commotion, there stood Ryo arguing with Ursa over
something.
“That’s a command! Ryo!” Ursa said as she took of, her face was red from
yelling at the other Barbic. She stormed away and to Timmy’s delight she
climbed in, and hit the break, and took faster than it ever had before. It had
Ursa yelling at the top of her lungs as the car flew along the track faster
then a bolt of lightning. As it flew over head, it crashed into one of the
buildings. Timmy covered his mouth with his hands, he
knew he was dead this time. But he didn’t care. For him to see that happening gave
him a thrill that was unreal.
Quickly Timmy ran
back to his room, and sat on his bed. He
wasn’t bout to let her find him outside, when she got out of that mess. He picked up the sling shot that they didn’t
know he had and started shooting it making stones hit the ceiling.
Timmy could hear the
footsteps coming from down the hall, he quickly put
the slingshot out of sight. And sat on his bed and looked out the window.
“How in the world
did you make that thing do that?” Ursa asked as she stormed in and grabbed the scruf of his neck, he didn’t answer, until a swift swat landed on his
backside.
The cub growled then
answered,
“I put a jet pack on
the back of it, so that it would make the ride a little more intresting.”
“Well, Kid I got to
hand it to you, it worked.” Timmy backed up, this time he was a little nervious every since the whipping the other night.
“I’m sorry Ursa, I never got a chance to take it apart! I never meant
for it to go through with it!” He said actually pleading, as he looked into her
hands making sure that sword was not with her.
“If you didn’t mean
for it to happen, why did you do it?”
“I don’t know, I did
it while you and that Mamma’s Boy was,…” Ursa slapped
him hard,
“Your
going to stop calling him that, do I make myself clear?” The kid nodded.
“Good, now you’re
the one that’s going to be cleaning that mess up.” He nodded ran out of the
room in a flash.
Once he was
finished, Timmy started walking inside, he started to pass Buddi’s room, but
stopped Ursa was sitting there with him on his bed. Buddi’s head was in her
lap, and she was smoothing his hair back. Timmy just stared at them. Not saying
anything, just watched.
*My real Mamma did that before those
nisha’s took her from us.* He growled to his self. It wasn’t fair. He stood and
watched. Ursa heard him and turned about to say something but stopped when she
seen his face, it brimmed with tears. Something that the cub
hadn’t dared to show. He turned bright red and ran. Ursa looked at Buddi, he was a sleep, knowing he was fine, headed off to
find Timmy. Wasn’t to hard, he was down by the lake.
He wasn’t doing anything just staring blankly across it. Form where she could
see, tears were flowing freely. She walked up to him. And sat
down.
“Why are you with
him?” Timmy asked jerking his thumb in that direction.
“I thought we could
talk.” Timmy looked at her then looked away,
“There’s nothing to
talk about.” Not paying attention to the
comment, Ursa spoke
“What was your life
before you left your home?” Without thinking Timmy answered.
“Fun, Mamma did all
kinds of stuff for us. When we came home, Kenya and me.
She’d have honey cakes for us. She played games, Even Tyra, he was the baby,
played at times, Dad, left and never came back before Tyra
was born. Then these people came and killed Tyra in
front of us, then Mamma, taking us and made us work hard. I go mad when they
got real mean to Kenni, cause she just little still and didn’t know better than
to do some of the things that she did. I took her at night and run with her.”
Ursa stred at the child who was now in tears crying
hard. He turned from her, not wanting to show her that he was. At this moment,
Ursa looked at the cub, as if she was looking at a younger version of buddi for a moment, and pulled him to her. He pulled way
staring at her. She understood now why he was like he was.
“Why come to me? You
got your cub, I’m no ones. My Mamma’s dead!” That made chills run through
Ursa’s bones. The way this boy talked.
She understood now
why he acted like he did. He was angry. She was when she first lost her
parents, and still is. But this child not only lost his parents but an extra
sibling as well. Then was treated cruelly as well by humans.
“I never meant to
hurt Buddi.” That shocked her. The kid was actually calling Buddi by his name.
I wanted to show him I was just as tough as he was.” Ursa just stared at the
child. “I feel bad.” He said looking into her eyes. She could tell the child meant what he said
by the look in his eyes. He then looked away. Ursa took him into her arms
again, she knew even though this kid tried to be tough, as he was, he was still
just a child. As she had to tell herself with Buddi on number
of times.
“Just stay still.”
She told Timmy firmly. From where he was
sitting in in his room, Buddi could see Ursa holding
Timmy. He growled.
“How can she hold that,.. That,… thing!” Buddi
thought to him self.
*Cub this means war!, Oh yes BRAT this is WAR!*
