“Look at me! Look at
me!” I turned to see Elliot Ixavior in my house coat,
I had to laugh,
“What are you doing
Elliot Ixavior?”
“I
not Elliot Ixavior, I the Waddler!” He told me as I picked him up.
“You are not,” I
turned to see Joy and Skyla coming up from behind. Joy was the one speaking,
“That’s just an old
house coat.” Elliot burried his head in my shoulder. I looked at him,
and rubbed his back.
“I think you make a
wonderful Waddler, son,” His eyes looked up to me although he
didn’t lift his head,
“You do?” I nodded,
“You think I would
say that if I didn’t mean it?” He just stared at me, I felt Skyla tug at my
shirt, She was asking me to hold her to. I complied.
When she was secured in my arms she wrapped her arm around, Elliot Ixavior.
“I too, think so.”
Sky told him smiling at me. She then glared at her older sister.
“Sky,” I warned.
“Sorry,
Mamma.” Skyla replied
putting her head on her brother. I was starting to think that these to in my
arms were the closest of all the siblings. I was glad that I had taken that
trip a couple days ago. They all needed each other badly. After a few minutes,
Skyla looked up,
“you
wanna play with me big brother?” Elliot Ixavior
nodded and I put them down. I looked to see Joy was still there.
“You want to go
play?”
“No,”
“Alright, that’s
fine, but what do you plan to do?”
“Sit here.” I looked
at her puzzled then walked to her, and sat down by her,
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” I looked at her in doubt, but left it the way
it was. Knowing that she could he just having a hard time with adjusting to
everything, I just told her if she wanted to talk where I would be. And left the room to watch the others play together.
