“Omy!”
“Again?” As Stormy groaned at the sound of her
name being called. Pulling the cloud that she had just summoned to a halt she
went to see what it was this time. Despite her disappointment at having to stop
what she was doing again, Stormy had to laugh. Bliss was trying to stand. Both
hands were on the floor and her hindend sticking
straight into the air. Stormy smiled.
Watching the cub, reminded her of some other times that seemed to be cherished
at one time, not that too long ago. When she picked the child up, Bliss burried her face into Stormy, then looked up and grinned.
Stormy was about to
say something to her when she was cut off.
“Was not!”
“Was too your fault!”
“You’re the one who
attacked me!” Stormy rolled her eyes as she turned to the voices.
“You wanna another
shot at me female!”
“Why you want me to
kick your tail again?”
“You little…”
“That’s enough you
two.” Stormy cut in. “Lightning and Timmy, cut it out, before you get into
trouble.”
“But he’s the one
who…” Lightning was cut off by her mother’s hand covering her mouth.
“I said enough
Lightning.” Lightning glared at the woman before pulling the hand away and
heading out the door.
Stormy grabbed hold
of Timmy, as he walked past her.
“I want you to stay
away from her.” Timmy rolled his eyes. “I wouldn’t mind if you were going to
play, but all you do is fight. And I don’t want anymore problems.”
“I do as I want to,
you nishien!,”
“What did you just
call me?” asked Stormy. He didn’t answer just ripped past her. Stormy ran to
him taking hold again.
“Got
you, Iris!” Kenya called
out as she ran as fast as she could away from the girl. Iris grinned and turned
to Sunlight and Forest. Forest called Iris trying to get the child to go to
her. Not thinking, Iris headed that direction, stepping in a lasso and getting
strung up by her foot.
“Just you wait,
Forest O’ Green! Paybacks are just as sweet! Some how I’ll get you back for
this.” The green haired child nodded her head and smiled overconfidently. As soon
as Iris was let loose, she tagged Forest, and ran.
“What do you think
you just did?” Shanda asked as she headed back over to Forest. Shanda looked
over to her sisters they nodded. On cue, both Skyla and Kenya grabbed hold of Forest;
before she could react they had her on the ground.
“You want to know
the difference in having more than one sister? You get more help.”
As they three cubs
held the child down, Iris took that moment to hook Forest’s feet, into that
rope she just had on her and help hang her upside down.
“You guys can’t just
leave me like this!” Forest cried out. “Iris, come on now, you know it was a
joke!” She shouted to her friend. “Skyla, Kennie,
Shanda, Sunlight! GET ME DOWN! Someone help me!” Forest cried as loud as she could.
“Mamma! Daddy! HELP ME!”
