“Look, Tanni here comes the cub who THINKS he’s a knight.” Tanjia sighed and said nothing but got up and left. Not wanting to hear it. She hated it when her brother got like this. She walked over and tried to take hold of Cubbi to drag him away from the other cub, but Timmy walked over and grabbed hold.

“You stay away from my sister’s Pinky” Tanjia pushed her brother back,

“Leave him alone, He can be around anyone he wants to.”

“What’s wrong Pinky, have to have a girl protect you?”

“Timmy if you don’t stop I’ll tell.” Timmy took no note of his sisters warnings. So she headed off to find me or Plucki which was easiest to find.

I got there in time to see Cubbi throw a punch at Timmy. I told Tanni to go get Plucki and tell him I need his help now. She nodded, I headed over to the boys.  Before I could get a hand on them Skyla had ran into the fight intending on stopping it herself, only to have Cubbi respond to a hit that Timmy had threw at him, but instead of connecting with Timmy, the punch landed on Skyla’s eye. Cubbi looked at the little girl, and at his own hands stunned. He couldn’t believe what he had done. I took the time to pick her up. I could see a bluish tint already starting to form. I turned to both boys.

“Timba Ian I want you out in that Barn NOW I’ll deal with you as soon as I get Sky taken care of. And Cubbi, You can sit up in the bedroom and wait for Plucki. I could see panic in his eyes,

“I’m sorry,” Cubbi started.

“Well so am I but, Sorry’s not going to cut it this time, someone got hurt. Now get going,” Seeing my son still standing there, walked over to him and gave him a hard smack to his backside making him jump.

“I told you to get to that barn, don’t make yourself get into more trouble by disobeying me as well.” I told him trying not to loose it.

“Come on Sunshine, lets get that taken care of.” I told her gently.  While I rocked Skyla while she held the ice on her eye. As we heard the commotion taking place upstairs, Chyanne walked into the room fear on her face. I looked at her,

“My soul trembles.” I looked at Sky, she nodded. Sitting her on the chair, I headed over to the four year old.

“Cubbi a’ls burns.” She seemed to understand that but not totally. Seeing that Timmy had been out in that barn long enough, I headed out there to deal with him.

“Timba Ian, I thought you had changed your ways!”

“I did!” I got to his level.”

“Don’t give me that! Tanni told me everything. How you were teasing him and how she told you to leave him alone. Why did you do that?” Timmy shrugged his shoulders

“I don’t know.”

“That’s not an acceptable answer, Timba.” I told him sternly raising my voice as well. As I spoke he headed over to where I kept the switch,

“I’m sorry, Mamma, I’m sorry,” Timmy cried out as I walked over to him.

“I’m not the one that you should be saying that to, “ I told him, as I took hold of him. “You know better, and have been in trouble for this type of thing several times,” I said as pulling him into a standing position.

“Maybe this time you’ll learn!” I said hoping that it would actually sink in.

Several hours later, I was sitting with Chyanne on my lap, Skyla had long since fallen asleep. And both Cubbi and Timmy were in bed as well. I turned to see Plucki coming into sit.

“From the looks of it, that was the first time that you’ve dealt with him like that.” The Gummi nodded.

“I myself should have seen it coming.” I said as Chyanne shifted her weight a little bit. Seeing that she was a sleep,  I smiled and her as I wrapped my arms around her.

“The sounds from the events that were happening upstairs frightened her.” I told the elder as he sat there without  a sound.
