“Rei!” I cried as I ran to get the crawling infant before she managed to dump the entire can of paint on herself. But it was too late.

“Oh boy, “ I sighed glad that I had put all of the infants into old clothing. She had been gluing herself to me lately and that was the only reason that she was in here while we were working on this.

“Mamma! Look at Timmy!” I looked up hearing Elliot’s voice. Just in time to see Timmy with squirt bottles filled with paint.

“And WHAT are you planning to do with that?” I asked seeing the mischievous look in his eyes. He pointed it to the walls we had just finished painting a navy blue shade, and fired black and red shades all over. The way it looked when he was doing this was so neat. I had no idea that my children had such interesting ideas about something. They were all very different that’s was for sure. I had to laugh at that as I walked into see what Tanni was doing. She and Skyla and Elliot and Shanda were throwing glitter into the bright yellow paint, I knew that she collected it, and had bags, and shelved of the stuff. Now she was using some of the smaller stuff as part of her room.

“I think the glitter is a nice touch Tanni.” She grinned as she turned back. As I turned to go check on the others and see how they were doing, I almost ran into Joy,

“Mamma, I was wanting to ask, you think Charity would like to come and see my room?” I smiled as I answered

“I probably, if she likes art the way you do.” She was talking about the little girl that had come in with a friend that helped try to figure out what had happened to the triplets, when they first came in. Both the young girls had hit it off pretty well at least what I thought.

“Did you get everything the way that you wanted?” Joy nodded.

“You ready to get your bed in there, are you?” Joy nodded. I had hand made new beds for each of the children so that they had their own and so that we didn’t have to try to drag the other ones down the stairs. After helping her get the things in her room, I left her to make the bed, and get that, and her personal activities room done the way she wanted.

Each of the children have their own personal rooms now as well as bedrooms, they could use them for anything that they want. Timmy for example had turned his into a new workshop, and training area says he’s going to keep practicing what Ursa’s been teaching him. And wanted to be ready when she started training him in the summer. Darcy had turned hers into a study. Skyla turned hers into a indoors jungle gym which was fine with me. Kennie turned hers into a playroom, Shanda did the same thing, although she had hers a little different, Tanjia turned hers into a room that she could keep all her small pets. The Triplets combined theirs, and Joy she turned hers into an arts studio. I thought it to be a nice little bit, the living room still could be played in but they had other options.

“Mom!” I turned Timmy had been starting to call me that more than Mamma, says he’s to old to do that, but on occasions forgot that.

“I made something for you.”

“We can talk to you through this thing, I was thinking we can put this in all of our rooms. So that we can hear each other.”

“That’s actually a great idea, Son. I hadn’t thought about how hard it might be to get the ones at the other end of the house.” He nodded. Then drug me behind so that I could help him put them on everyone’s walls. They would all have to leave them on so I could call them if needed, but no one else would here what was said unless they were standing beside who was talking or listening.

After that last one was installed, I headed to the living room and sat down in front of a fire. I couldn’t believe how fast we had gotten that done. And for the first time in months I picked up a book and started to read. Only as I started that, I couldn’t think. I was starting to miss the noise already, and the tripping and falling over the toys, it was like they had all moved or something. Even though they were just in the own little play areas. I know I spoiled them with this. Not only do they have their own rooms, and activities rooms, they have a big playroom as well as tunnels that were all over the house, that they could play in. Yes I had turned the house into one big playhouse, but I was liking it. And so were they. As I was thinking about this part, I heard a couple footsteps and giggles over me. I had to laugh myself at hearing them play like this.
