Plucki and I both
watched as Elliot, and Cubbi had taken stacks of pillows and blankets and piled
them and threw the blanket over the soft hill, then each climbed underneath so
that the only thing that you seen was their hands sticking out every so often
to through some type of soft toy at each other.
“Missed
me, Cubbi!” Elliot cried
out as he fired a shot of his own.
“If you think you
can gat me you better think again!”
“Well, I have a
special attack that will gareentee that I win THIS
battle,” and with that Elliot fired the best weapon that he had,
“Get him!” Skyla
charged across the room, and plowed into Cubbi,
“NO FAIR! THAT’S
cheating!” Cubbi said climbing out from the wreckage. Skyla grinned at the boys,
“I get you again Cuddi!” She said running to him, Cubbi’s response was to
run away.
“That happened to be
the strangest game I had ever seen.” I turned to reply to Plucki,
“Your
not kidding, I had never seen anything like it either although I got to say
that last part was pretty clever.” Pkucki nodded as I
left the room to tend to Sukura.
“Get away from me!”
I heard that as I turned to see Cubbi running into the room and scrambling to
get under the bed trying to hide.
“I think he went
into your mother’s room, Little Lass.”
“My name’s not Ass, it’s Skyla!”
“Right,” Plucki said
sighing, this girl did not like being called anything
but her name it seemed to him at least. I shot Plucki a look when he walked in
with her.
“Sky, I think that
it would be best if you went and found one of your brothers or sisters to play
with and let Cubbi alone for a bit.”
“But we were
playing, Mamma.”
“I said to go find
one of your brothers or sisters to play with.” I told her more sternly, seeing
that I was serious she took off but not without saying that she was not going
to play with them she was going to wait until Cubbi
came back out of hiding. I sighed and told Cubbi that he would be better off
staying there for a little longer.
Later that night as
everyone was sitting by the fire, I looked around the room to see who was all
in here, I couldn’t see Elliot, Skyla or Cubbi. After
looking around upstairs, I saw what I thought was the sweetest thing I had ever
seen the three were on Sky and Elliot’s bed fast asleep. I smiled at the sight.
After I kissed my two goodnight and pulled a blanket
on the children I headed down to start getting the rest of the children to bed.
