Getting up I couldn’t
stand it, I wanted my cub back! Telling the older three what I was up to and
letting them know to get the others ready for when I got back. I told Joy what
was going on then took off.
Heading into
Ursalia, I headed into the Dinning Hall were, Grubbi was still, a plate of food
still untouched was there. I greeted him.
“That’s some kid you
got there. Keeps you on your toes that’s for sure.” I
turned to see Ursa behind me.
“That’s Sky for ya.”
I looked around. “ I know I wasn’t going to be back
for a few days yet, but wanted to come and get her.” Ursa pointed before I even
had to finish.
“She’s still in her
room in bed.” I was amazed by that. She was normally up at the crack of dawn.
She then filled me in on the adventures they had over the past several days. I
sighed knowing that sounded like that cub of mine. Opening
the door. I headed over to the bed, and gently picked her up as if she
was a newborn. She started to open her eyes,
“MAMMA! YOU BACK YOU BACK!” She screamed as she burried her face into me.
“Yes, and as soon as
you eat and get dressed we can go home little one.” She looked up at me. “I
have something I need you to do when we get there, something neat, and the
others can’t do it until you get back. Besides the place is
too quite without you to help cause the craziness.” Skyla beamed.
“Speaking of which I
heard what you did Skyla Videl.” She hung her head.
“I’m not doing anything, it’s been dealt with as far as I’m concerned but
if it ever happens again. The I will.” She nodded as
she handed me her clothing, and had me help her.
Down at the hall I
went to sit her down in the chair.
“Owie!”
“Your
backside still sore?” She
nodded. “It should be, now sit and eat. We have a long day ahead of us.” I told
her as she ate.
Going into the house
I told her to get her old pants on, an come outside to
the long part. She was out in a flash.
“Now everyone gets
to help put the plaster on this wall, and I want all of you to use your hands
again like you did yesterday. Now watch “ I dipped my
hand in and held it there for a few minutes so that it set. Seeing this the
children all started, I took the hands of Chace,
Bliss, Rei, Scarlet, and Sukura and did them as well
making sure they were in their own little spots. As they did this I went
through and put every one’s names on, underneath so that it would always be
known that they were here. The children got a kick of doing that it. Took the entire wall to get
everyone’s handprints. I headed into the playhouse part as soon as the
children were cleaned up and got started in there. I got that part finished
about the time the children were ready for bed. I couldn’t believe how hard
they had all worked we had managed to get everything done in that area. All in
one day, of couses with 8 of us I guess it wouldn’t
take too long. I sent everyone to bed, and told them that we would work on the
other half tomorrow, and that I was going to get my own bath and get to bed
myself.
I had just settled
into my bath when the someone knocked. Looking up,
Skyla was standing there,
“What’s wrong Baby?”
I asked
“When I habe my own room can Elliot stay with me?”
“As much as he wants
that’s your choice, and his. But you have to listen to each other and respect
what you each need.”
“Kay.” She came over
and kissed my cheek before running. I had to laugh at her. So much energy in
this little one it wasn’t funny, nothing was ever dull with her or the others
around.
