“Joy I’m ready to
put the plaster up if you want to help with that? I called into what use to be
my barn, she had been waiting for this, like one waited for a birthday
gift. I showed her what I wanted her to
do, and let her do the work,
“After each section
I want you to step outside and get some air, and What ever you do, do not shut
this door with yourself in here, I don’t think it can make you sick or
anything, but I want to be sure.” Joy nodded and started in one of the lines I
had made. I had taken a pencil and drawn lines so that she knew when and where
to stop at each time, I started at one end and she at the other. I had to a
laugh at her by mid morning.
“Joy, you look like
a snowbear or something, your so white with that
stuff.” She laughed in response. I turned
around almost running in to Kenya.
“Kennie
what are you doing in here, you want to help?” She nodded yes, I told her to go
get one of the long shirts from over where I had extras sitting, I knew that
someone else might want to do some of this themselves. I showed her where she
could work. The face she made was priceless when she put the brush into the
bucket, and she had put her hold hand in it. She made a face and looked as if
she was going to get upset.
“Its alright, Kennie, watch this” I said dipping my own hand in the stuff
and putting a handprint on the walls, she got such a kick out of it, she went
and got the Shanda and Elliot to join her, the triplets joined us as well,
although, Chyanne started using her feet instead of
her hands. I stood back and watched the children at work, and felt bad that Sky
wasn’t with us. I wanted to have her do a little as well, and decided that she
we could do the other wall when she got back which would be in about three days
anyways. It could wait that long. I decided it was time to get the children
inside and get them all baths! It was going to take forever to get all that
plaster out of their fur, and I knew it. They were disappointed until I told
them that we would continue once Sky was back, that way everyone could have a
handprint on the wall.

“Cubbi Gummi, what
is the meaning of this?” Cubbi opened his eyes and looked up to see Plucki
standing over him with his armor covered in paint. Cubbi looked at the suite in
amazement.
“But I didn’t do it!
I was in here all night!” Cubbi said starting to whine a little, Plucki glared
at him.
“You better stop,
and this is the last time. You get to stay here again until you tell me the
truth.” Before the captain left, he turned, “I’ll remember to let Tavi know
that your not coming out today.” Right as Plucki shut the door, Cubbi through
the pillow at the door, and yelled.
“What ever you are,
you better stop before I get really mad!” Cubbi called out as he cried of the
injustice that was going on. He heard a thump from over top. Wondering where or
not he should check it out, Cubbi looked around the room to see if he could see
what it was. Deciding that he would risk it, Cubbi went over to the door and
locked it tight, and climbed into the tunnel that was in his closet. He looked
all over the place to see what it could have been. Just as he opened the door,
he heard someone yell from his door, he knew it only could have been Plucki and
he sounded mad!
“Got him!” Cubbi
couldn’t look Plucki in the eye as he was drug from the door.
“Plucki, I heard
something, and I wanted to see what it was!” The cub pleaded. As Plucki drug him back through the tunnel and back to
the bedroom,
“And I want to know
why in the world you would put a rotten egg in my boots!”
“But I di,… Ow!” he never got to finish,
he was cut off by a sharp smack.
“I’ve had it with
the lies, Cubbi, I want the truth now!”
“But, I,.. I,..”
Cubbi hung his head, “what's the use you won’t believe me anyways.” He said
walking over to his bed and sitting.
Plucki stood there
looking at the cub for a moment, as he did. He heard something over head as
well.
“I told you
something was up there.” Plucki told the cub to stay there for a moment. And
headed out of the room and onto the roof. There stood a little girl. Looking as
sly as could be, the girl stopped in her tracks.
“Haven’t you been in
trouble enough for being her Young Lady!” Plucki said as he grabbed hold of her
tight. Skyla fought the hold but found that she couldn’t break loose.
“Your coming with
me, I think you have something to say to Cubbi.”
“I don’t.”
“I thought you liked
Cubbi,”
“Cuddi
mean he not play with me.”
“Well what you did
was pretty mean to; he got into a lot of trouble, just as you’re about to.”
When Plucki, and Sky
got into Cubbi’s room, her eyes were full of tears still and she was rubbing
her backside. It seemed obvious that Plucki had a few choice words to put it
mildly.
“Well, kid I think
you have something you’d like to say.” Skyla looked at Plucki, then at Cubbi,
“I don’t even want
to hear her, right now. And I don’t want to see you either Plucki.” Plucki
nodded understanding and drug the little girl out to wait for whoever was going
to get her. Only moments later, Buddi came in with a couple of the knights. He
glared at Skyla; Plucki released her into his firm grip.
“You know you're in
a lot of trouble, Skyla.” He told her without taking his eyes off of her. He
thanked Plucki and apologized for her actions, and told that Ursa would be
informed of what happened.
“Ursa!” Skyla
started to run to the leader, but stopped and backed up as she took one look at
her face seeing how angry she was. Buddi took off without even having to be
looked at, there was no way he was staying around with her like this.
“Skyla Videl get over here.”
“I’ve been hurt two
times, Cuddi’s friend, and Duddi!”
“Well here comes
more.”
