“Duddi,
don’t leave me!, wait up!” Skyla called out her little
legs trying to catch up to him. He sighed, and turned,
“Skyla, I told you
that you can’t come with me.” He told her gently. He told her to get back
inside of the city. They were at the gates. He was going to go explore, alone,
he had told Ursa that he wanted that, she agreed that could as long as Sky
wasn’t going, they didn’t want her outside of it yet.
He wasn’t going that far, but after the several times of her running off. They
didn’t want her out there. Skyla stood there stubbornly telling him no that she
wanted to go to.
“I go! Duddi!”
Skyla cried out chasing after him. Buddi turned and glared at her again trying
to get her to go back on her own.
“Skyla, go on!” She
shook her head and threw herself on the ground screaming. That’s she wanted to
go. And kept going until Buddi had enough. He had been
told by Ursa that when she started this, that he was
to just carry her back to her room and leave her there. So that’s what he did, only he stopped and let the adults know what was going
on. The girl could be heard from the city gates itself. The older cub couldn’t
believe how something so small could be so loud. He took off before Skyla could see which way
that he had gone.

“Captain, we have a
problem, the horses, are loose.” Plucki looked up from his paper work, and told
the Gummi that he would be there in a little while. He walked into his youngest
knights room, seeing the key for the lock for the gates, Plucki called for
Cubbi,
“I didn’t Plucki, I
tell you!”
“Then how’d this key
get in here?”
“I don’t know, but I didn’t!” Cubbi was
looking around looking for help. He couldn’t believe that this was happening!
“Sir Cubbi, you’re
the only child here! And the key has a little bit of pink fur in it!
You’re the only one that has that shade of fur!” Plucki said dragging the cub
to his bed, Cubbi began to panic, and was relieved when Plucki just set him on
his bed,
“Until you decide to
tell the true, I want you to stay on this bed.” Plucki ordered. Then left to finish the paper work that he had started earlier.

“Buddi, have you
seen Skyla?”
“Isn’t she back in
the City with you?”
“If she was I
wouldn’t be asking would I now?” Buddi cringed at that last part.
“No Ursa, You
wouldn’t.” He answered. He couldn’t believe how mad she looked. She was whiter
than white this time and it made him nervous he had never seen Ursa that mad.
“I’ll look for her
Ursa.” Buddi said standing up. Ursa nodded, then looked Buddi in the eye,
“This isn’t the
first time that she’s taken off, see to it that she knows she’s in more trouble
that she could ever dream of.” Buddi swallowed knowing what she meant.
As he began looking
for the child, he wondered how in the world he was going do to what Ursa
wanted, he’s punished her brother, he wasn’t sure how he was suppose to go
about this one. Buddi thought hard as he walked, thinking he knew where she
went.
