Skyla glared and
threw the plate across the room.
“NO I WON’T EAT
THAT!” She screamed starting to get up out of her seat. Before Ursa could
react, Grubbi ran over and placed a well aimed swat to the child’s rear. Making
Ursa herself wince,
“OW!” Sky yelped as
Grubbi put her back in her seat,
“And after wards,
you get to clean in here.” Skyla turned her head and said
“I won’t!” Ursa walked over and got to the child’s
level,
“Trust me Little One
if you want to sit tonight you will.” As soon as the adult had her back turned,
Skyla stuck her tongue out. Then crossed her arms,
As soon as she had
the mess cleaned Ursa had sent the child to her bed for a nap,
“I don’t take naps!”
Skyla yelled as the door shut.
“Ursa, was I ever
THAT bad?” Ursa pulled Buddi close,
“No one has ever
been that bad. Buddi looked at her contentedly as she kept him close, he didn’t
know it but he seemed to have a calming effect on Ursa. He closed his eyes and
just rested his head on her chest not remembering the last time they were like
this, not even caring, he was enjoying the time for the moment. Ursa enjoying
the time herself let herself lean back so that she was in a half sitting
position. She started rubbing Buddi’s back then running her finger’s
through his hair knowing that he liked it. Noticing how relaxed he was, she
looked down to see that he had fallen asleep. Normally she would have just laid
him down but she just sat there. Ursa had forgotten how much of a handful a
five year old could be. Although she really couldn’t remember
Buddi being that bad. Silently she laughed to herself remembering a
while back when she was younger, before Buddi was born, Grubbi had told her
that one day she would have a cub that would ten times worse than she was, she
was defiantly getting paid back for all the hard times that she had given any
of them.
“Mister Ursa, I,… I,…” Skyla stuttered coming into
the room.
“What is it?” Ursa
asked picking the child up, as she set her on her lap, she realized what the
problem was.
“Skyla,
your wet!” Ursa said
putting the child back down . Skyla just nodded and leaned into Ursa . Ursa had forgotten about accidents at that age. Ursa
stood up and realized that she had to do some type of training with Gritti, so
she woke Buddi up telling him that he had to watch the child, and that he would
have to give Skyla a bath.
“I wash myself!”
Skyla said stubbornly as Ursa gave Buddi the instructions. As she headed out
the door, she tuned back and got Skyla’s attention.
“And if Buddi has to
punish you, I will myself as well.” Buddi swallowed hard even though he knew
that she wasn’t talking to him.
“Please Sky, sit
here and let me get you cleaned up!” Buddi pleaded again.
“NO! I do it
myself!” Sky told him throwing another handful of water into his face. The
Barbic cub wiped face off and tried again.
He didn’t think that giving someone a bath would be so hard.
“Skyla, come one,
let’s get this done.”
“NO!” Buddi ducked
thinking another handful of water was coming, Instead she climbed out and
starting running though the halls,
“Get back here!”
Buddi called out running after her. He caught up to her, picking her up he
carried her kicking and screaming back into the bathroom deciding that he’d had
enough, and told her to get herself dressed. She throw
the clothing to the floor, and started to run again, but he caught on fast,
“Do you remember
Ursa telling you that if I spanked you then she would as well?” Skyla glared at
him and got dressed. As soon as she was dressed flew down the halls again.
Buddi sighed he was having a hard time keeping up with this kid. By the time he
got into the kitchen it had been destroyed. Not having a chance to clean it,
Buddi heard her little feet running through another hall, He stopped fast seeing
where she went.
“Skyla were not suppose to go in there!” He winced at the reminder of what
happened the last time he had gone in there.
“Get out here!”
Buddi called not knowing what to do for a moment.
Ursa was white, with
anger as she headed into the weapons room with Buddi to get Skyla out of there.
She was glad that Buddi hadn’t gone in there himself and had gone and got her
instead. Hearing her cold voice Skyla to
scared not to come out out, headed to Ursa.
“You Young Lady get to your room,” Ursa gave her a shove in that direction.
Shutting the door hard enough that it slammed Ursa started to removed her belt,
she was going to teach Skyla a lesson that she
wouldn’t forget.
“Come here, Skyla Videl.” Not knowing what to think,
“You know your not
suppose to go into that Weapon’s room. Then you also give Buddi a hard time
while he was giving you a bath, and not only that you destroy the kitchen! Is
there anything else that you’ve done that I should know about?” Skyla shook her
head. Seeing Ursa’s face, Sky backed up
covering her backside with her hands knowing all to well what was coming. Ursa
reached out and pulled the child to her, and before Skyla could react throw her
over her thigh and let the buckle of her belt connect with Skyla’s backside three
times. Ursa set the little girl on her bed, and told her to stay there and if
she came out for anything that she would do it again.
