“No Chace,” I
scolded my toddler as I pulled him off the table that he was trying to climb
on. Sitting him in the middle of the floor I told him to play there, and not my
tables. Grinning at me he turned back to the end tables again.
“Don’t even think
about it, Young Bear.” I warned as I turned to the Elliot who was sitting in a
corner, curled up.
“Elliot, what are
you doing?” He looked to me but didn’t say a word. I held my arms out to him;
he walked over and climbed in.
“You want to go back
to Gummadoon?” He nodded but still didn’t speak.
“Alright, I’ll take
you.” Calling to Tanni and letting her know that she was in charge until I got
back I headed out the door with the yellow cub.
“Gumlittle, Plucki’s
not back yet his he?”
“No not at the
moment, Selena, won’t be for another few weeks.”
“Can you leave him a
message?”
“Sure.” Gumlittle replied taking a look at the
normally wild cub, being held tightly.
“Just give him this
note when he comes back and if there’s need just come and get me, right
away.” Gumlittle nodded at the sight in
front, Elliot had fallen a sleep in that time frame. I
headed to that room and laid him in the bed and headed out.
“Mamma!” Kenya cried as I picked her up as I headed
into the house,
“What’s going on?”
“Tanni can’t get
Chace to let go.” I looked to see what Kenni was talking about,
the toddler had a good grip on my daughter’s arm with his teeth. Slapping his
backside, I gave him a firm NO! to get him to let go.
“You don’t bite,
Chace Cullen.” I scolded as I took him over to a corner and sat him down
telling him to stay there.” Still stunned by what happened Chace just stood
where he was told to stand.
