Hearing the infant
cub cry, Timmy walked over to his brother and cradled him into his arms then
headed to the kitchen. Settling down in
a chair with the baby, Timmy didn’t even hear Ursa coming up from behind and
watching this. He didn’t even notice until half way though his walking with the
cub.
“Ursa, how long have
you been standing there?”
“For awhile, I
didn’t want to bother you while you were doing that.” Timmy nodded as he sat
down in another chair. Ursa shook her head
“No, use my chair”
“Use what?” Ursa
just nodded and pointed back to the chair,
“You’ve earned the
right to use it, Timmy.”
“That’s OUR chair,
Mamma.” a voice called from the door.
“I know Buddi,
Timmy’s just using it to put the baby to sleep, that’s all.” Ursa called as she walked out to Buddi,
“So that’s OURS not
his,” Buddi said, storming back to his room, slamming the door and locking it.
“Just stay away!” He
yelled as she tried to open it.
“Buddi open the door
and listen to me.”
“NO
way Ursa! I don’t even want
to talk to you, why not go and cuddle with your new baby.” Ursa sighed and decided to go figure out what
else to do.
When she went back
to see what Timmy was doing she had found that they weren’t in the sitting room
but his bedroom laying on the bed, baby on his belly and was talking to him
gently.
“I took him to
Mamma,” He told her.
“Timmy, does Jonni belong to someone?”
“No, Ursa, he
doesn’t I found him though, that’s all I can tell you though.” Ursa nodded as
she watched the older cub with the baby.
“You know this is
the only one I really haven’t had time with yet, until now.” Ursa nodded again
as she listened to him.
“I really want to be
alone with him right now Ursa”
“Alright I have to
figure out what to do with Buddi anyways.” Ursa said leaving the room
As she walked out
she could hear a humming coming from the bedroom she just left.
