As Darcy sat in her
chair she pulled out a tiny sack and opened it, taking it as well as a bowl and
something to crush a piece of the rock into it, a knock came from out side the
room.
“If you value your
pathetic life you will get the fuck away from there.” Only thing was she didn’t
realize that who she was talking to.
Ulisa slammed the door open, "You do
_not_...Darlita Rose Walker Gummi! What in Gum's name are you doing?!
"It's
nothing" Darcy said turning her back from the Barbic
"It's
nothing" Darcy said turning her back from the Barbic
"Now mind your
own Fucking business
Ulisa stormed over,
grabbed Darcy by the shoulder and whirled her around, taking the bowl from her.
Anger festered in her heart and she started to yell, something she hardly ever
did, "<Like Hell it is! I'm not stupid; these are drugs,
Darlita!>"
"It's my Damn
Fucking business anyways" as Darlita tried to take the bowl back,
"Give it back to me I need that!"
Ulisa growled, "No, I certainly won't.
And you...I can't even talk to you right now. You know better!" Ulisa
stormed out of the room, bowl in hand, slamming door behind her, locking it
"Aunt Ulisa what's wrong?" Joy asked
looking more worn out than a girl her age should
Your sister..." Ulisa spoke through
clenched teeth and threw the bowl into the fireplace
Joy took hold of Ulisa's hand as she had her
mother's many times and lead her to a chair to sit on her lap as it normally
calmed others when she did this
Ulisa smiled, faintly and clung to the girl as
she climbed up
"I know my sister's a major pain, I'm
sorry
Ulisa sighed, "Sweetie, she's doing drugs
Joy looked at her, "I don't know what that is, but I don't like the sound
of it, sounds bad"
Ulisa nodded, "It's
things your sister shouldn't be doing. I'm going to call your mother right now
and then I'll go handle Darcy my way." she smiled and rubbed the girl's
hair. "Thanks sweetie...this helped."
"Wait a second Aunt Ulisa!"
Ulisa turned, "yes?"
"Come down here a minute"
the child motioned
her so that she could reach her
Ulisa did so quickly
and kissed her cheek,
telling her things would get better, and she again was sorry for her sister
Ulisa smiled and kissed her forehead,
"Thanks, baby."
Joy nodded and ran back to her brother and
sister
Ulisa walked over to her communicator and
contacted Ursalia. She got Grubbi on the line as she figured Selena would be in
sick by with Jonni. "Grubbi, is Selena near? I
really need to talk to her
"She is but she's nursing, what's
wrong?"
"Trust me...I _need_ to talk to
her...something about Darcy, just tell her that"
"Alright I'll give it to her she should
be about done though but she'll get you as soon as she's done
All right. I
I'm waiting
"Ulisa what's wrong? What'd my daughter
do now?"
Your daughter's doing drugs, Selena." The
Barbic decided it best to be blunt
"Say what, would you run that by me one
more time?"

I caught her doing some kind of drugs in her
room, Selena
"Alright I'll be right there as soon as I
Jonni put down,"
Ulisa nodded, "I haven't punished her
myself yet...
okay, do what you
think is necessary, give her the worst that you've got
Ulisa nodded, "I will" and closed
the link. She removed her elvish sword but didn't extend it yet
"Sorry, I'm late Ulisa, Baby gave me a
bit a bit of trouble, where is she?"
Ulisa just nodded to a door, "I gave her
13 whacks with my elvish sword and then locked her in." the Barbic
unlocked the door and then stepped aside
As soon as I took a look at her, my face
turned a deep red shade as I tried to find the words to say to her,
Seeing my face like that she ran to the other
side of the room.
Ulisa stood behind Selena, to keep an eye on
both parent and child
DARLITA ROSE, YOU GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE RIGHT
NOW!" I yelled as reached over and took hold of the hair clip that was in
Ulisa's hair. Storming over to Darcy, I tried to get it to extend.
"DARLITA ROSE I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU WERE THINKING! ANSWER ME
RIGHT NOW!" I then turned to Ulisa looking for help with getting the sword
to work
Ulisa said simply, "The sword only works
if you are calm and in control. You're neither. Go calm down."
"I am calm," I told her through
clenched teeth as Darcy ran behind Ulisa. "I'll be right back." I
told them storming out and coming back with a pretty thick stick. "COME
HERE DARLITA ROSE" the child shook her head from where she stood seeing my
knuckles white from holding on to the stick so tight
Ulisa extended her sword and shattered the
stick in Selena's hands, "Selena! You're supposed to punish not hurt. if you do this now, you're going to hurt her. Do you want to
do that to your daughter?!"
"Your right, I'll be right back,"
"You Young Bearess sit on that bed and
wait for me! and don't move!"
Ulisa just nodded, watched Selena leave and
then followed her out, locking the door behind her
"What did I do wrong Ulisa, what did I do
to make her turn the way she has?"
Ulisa held her friend by the shoulders, "Some
children just stray down the wrong path. You didn't do anything wrong but now
you need to lead her back
"It's not only that, I think she's stolen
things as well, yesterday morning I discovered that she's learning black magic,
the books were all over the place
Ulisa closed her eyes tightly, "Black
magic...that's dangerous stuff..."
"I know and I never bought it for her,
the only stuff I gave her was when we were getting the twins and Chace, that
book that she brought I'm thinking its of the same
thing
Ulisa nodded, "it is. I looked it over.
Selena, where did she get that book? Where did she tell you she got it?"
She never told me where she got it, but she
didn't have any books until after I got her, remember she didn't even have them
at your orphanage
She had tones of those books around her room
I know...that's why I think she's lying...she
said it was her mother's but I know for a fact she had nothing from her parents
when we found her and Bliss
her original home was
burned down in a fire remember"
Ulisa nodded, "I know...add lying to her
list
"I'm adding that, and the stealing, as
well as sneaking off
Ulisa nodded
"what am I going
to do with her?"
I don't know...I wish I did
"I do know fro right now though I'm going
to go flame a hide like there's no tomorrow, but I'm going to use something else,
but I have to run home to get it
Ulisa nodded, "good idea."
coming back after a good five minutes, I came
back with a stick with a little flap on the end of it "I've had this
around and have started using this riding crop on her not to long after you
started with the sword." I told Ulisa a I stormed
into the room
Ulisa nodded and merely waited outside the
door, so that she could intervene if her anger took over again
not even wasting
time, I threw the girl over the foot of the bed and ripped her pants off and
started smacking her with the thing lecturing on the things that she had done wrong.
And after about a good fifty with that thing I let her up and told her to stay
on that bed until Ulisa lets her up, I had to go back to Ursalia to take care
the baby and that she would be back at the end of the week to get them,
Ulisa merely watched, silent
"Ulisa, I've also grounded Darlita and its for some time so she's not even permitted off that bed
unless you say."
Ulisa nodded simply, still silent but the
glare she fixed Darlita with was enough to make the girl turn over and curl up,
facing away from them
"If you'd like you can punish her more as
well, for the other offences."
Ulisa said softly, "I already gave her 13
whacks with my sword...I think that's sufficient
I nodded. "What else has been going on
here?"
Skyla is really afraid for some reason...I
brought Elliot over for the night. He and Joy are staying with her
Afraid of what?"
She says "HIM
"Who's him? Where are they let me see if
I can get anywhere?"
They're in this room," she said softly,
opening the door slowly
To
my surprise all three looked beyond tired, "Joy, fill me in real
quick would you?"
She nodded and told
me that both had been up with Sky since the night that Ulisa went and got
Elliot and that they they haven't slept yet cause the
girl was so scared, but wouldn't answer the Him question.
"Alright Joy I want you to and Elliot to
sleep I'll take sky with me until she sleeps"
Ulisa stood near the door, simply listening
Laying the two down I walked out of the room
with the pink girl, and asked if there was a rocking chair that I could use for
a minute
Ulisa nodded and quickly
pointed a white one out
I thanked her and told her when Sky can't
sleep this is the best way to do it, she should quickly when this is done
Ulisa nodded and went to check on Elliot and
Joy
with in a few moments
time the cub was fast a sleep and I was carrying her back to her siblings then
told Ulisa that I needed go get back to my son.
Ulisa nodded, "Of course, go to him. Tell
Timmy and Buddi hi for me and say I hope they get well soon...I know they're
almost well...but it can't hurt
"I will Timmy's fine now but still bed
ridden, Buddi I think has most of his voice back."
Ulisa chuckled, "that's *great* Now he
can start that "MAMA!" again
"Already has"
"I've got a few that do that myself"
Ulisa smiled, "Well, kiss Jonni for me
She chuckled, "as do I;
"I will thanks again." I told her
heading off
Ulisa watched her leave and glanced at the
group of three siblings
"Oh make sure those do done get up for
awhile" I hollered out as the portal closed
Ulisa nodded,
"Count on it." And although she wasn't asked, the Barbic pulled up a
chair, extended her sword and sat in front of the three, in a protective
position
