Hi everyone, were
back, how’d it go?” I asked the children walking into the house, just as I
thought a stampede came running through, about knocking me down but then when
they realized that Darcy was with them backed up,
“What’s SHE doing
here?” Timmy asked coldly.
“I was about to ask
you the same thing.”
“I had asked Ursa to
let me come back since my sister’s birthday is in like three days.” He told me.
“Alright, that’s
fine, but I do want you apologizing to Darcy,”
“No it’s alright
Mamma,” She said walking off. I stopped her and said
“No it’s not alright, My children treat each other with respect. Your
Aunt Ulisa told you about what was going on with Darcy right?” they all nodded,
“and Darcy’s changed, she may need help fixing the
problems along the way but we’ll all work on it together.” I told them sternly.
“Now anyone that decides to speak to her unkindly or disrespectful will be sent
to their rooms after a mouth washing.”
The cubs all nodded.
“Good, now go and
get your chores started.” Without a word
or complaint, they all ran to do what they were assigned.
Picking up my newest
cub Jonni, I started cooing to him Joy walked up from
behind,
“Mamma, he really
didn’t eat from the bottles,” I nodded at hearing this then proceeded to start
nursing him. I could tell he was pretty hungry by the way he started eating.
“Silly cub, your not supposed to starve yourself when I’m not near you.”
I scold him gently as he starts to close his eyes to sleep,
“Mamma, Cyanne’s was talking
mean to Darcy so I brought her to you.” Tanjia said
slowly. I nodded and thanked her, and told her to go ahead and go play or what
ever she wanted to, if she was finished with what she needed to do. And told Cyanne to go stand in the corner in front of me while I
finished with the baby. Not about to argue, she headed over there,
Later that night I
listened to all their little adventures that went on while I was gone.
“Looks like you’ve
had a lot of fun little ones,” I told them beaming. And
staring into the eyes of my children.
“Now I want to tell
you a story, now
all of you head into the living room and I’ll be right there.” I told them watching
them all race to get the best place on the floor. Oh how they loved when I did
this, that meant one child got to sit in my lap that night and hear it right
there with me,
“Darcy it’s your
turn to sit up here,”
“Me?”
“Yes, want you to
hear it the most.” She nodded, I then started on the story of the prodigal
son,
“So you see just as
the son had done all those things, is father rejoiced in his safe return.
That’s the same for all of you with me, if you stray
away I will let you back no matter what has happened.” I told them gently.
