Waking up beside my son, I looked to see if there was any changes. Nothing not even a small change. I was surprised to see that I had an extra one sitting by me at that moment as well. I looked to Ulisa without an expression on my face and said,

“Ulisa, maybe you can get her to eat, she hasn’t since she got here.”

“I’ll eat I know my son’s alright.” I told them looking to the child.  Taking his hand I said.

“I will not leave his side for anything, not even if Gum himself appeared before me. I’m not doing anything that takes the attention away from him.”  I said before humming a tune for him to relax both my nerves and his. While I was stroking his hair, both Ulisa and Grubbi tried to get me to do something. I stayed in my seat and held onto my son’s hand.

“Mamma, you hold me too?” I nodded seeing my daughter walking over to me. Picking her up I asked her how she was feeling at the moment.

“Better, Is Chace better yet?”

“Not yet Princess.” I told her kissing her forehead and rocking her.

“You don’t hurt angel?”

“I do but I want to be with you, Mamma.” I sighed again and held her close smiling a bit I held her a little tighter to me.

“Mamma, you sad?” Looking at my daughter I sighed,

“Baby, I’m not going to lie to you. Yes Mamma’s sad.”

“Cause Chace might die?” I nodded.

“Yes Baby, he might. We’re trying to fix him so he doesn’t but it’s a chance.” Kenya looked at me and the the others.

“I know what that means, he goes away and not come back. Cause that would mean he’s been killed my sister, just like the THEY did with my other Mamma.” she told us looking into my eyes. “But I know he not die, to silly to die.” She told me leaning into me.” I smiled at her trying to fight back the tears.

“Kenni do me a favor, go play with Timmy for a bit.” Shacking her head no, she clutched onto me tight.

“Alright you don’t have to go, But maybe Ursa needs your help with something.  “Missy URSY! Mamma said you might need my help.” The child called walking down the hall.
