“Mamma! Get him
away!” Kenya yelled as she sat on the floor crying at the top of her lungs,
Chace and his teeth clenching her tightly. I stormed in with a small paddle in
hand and smacked his backside with it not to hard but enough to make him let
go.
“NO! Chace Cullen we
don’t bite!” I told him setting him in the corner then seeing if Kenni was
alright. She nodded as she took off.
I looked to Chace
who didn’t stay where he was and headed back over to him giving his backside
another smack telling him to stay there.
“Mamma can have
cookies too for the cook out?”
“I don’t see why
not. “ I smiled at the thought of the cubs all getting outside like this. The
winter had broken for good a bit early.
“Mamma I want Aunt
Ulisa over for it too.” Tanni and Joy spoke,
“Well I don’t see why
not, you wanting her cubs here as well?” They nodded,
“Well why don’t you
give her a call?” Taking them inside I handed the communicator to the girls,
“Auntie Ulisa? This
is Tanjia I want to ask you something”
"Auntie Ulisa? This is Tanjia I want to
ask you something
Ulisa smiled,
"Go ahead sweetie, what is it?"
since our winter has broken, were having a
cookout at our lake and Joy and I wanted to have you and your cubs come
Ulisa smiled,
"I'd love to come and I'm sure my kids will too
it still a bit chilly but Stormy letting her
sister make it warm early but its okay we see you in a little bit
Ulisa nodded,
"let me gather them together and we'll be there:
okay." The girl said beaming
Ulisa smiled, closed
the communication port and then left to gather her own children
Tanni and Joy ran to hug her as soon as they
got there, "We just heading down now, mamma said that use older ones can
go ahead while she gets the littler ones the foods down there already
Ulisa smiled,
"all right." She nodded to her cubs. Most of them joined the two but
some stayed with Ulisa
Wiping my hands off on a towel I greeted
Ulisa, "The kids wanted to play with your cubs, and I thought of it as a
wonderful idea.
Ulisa smiled,
"i think so to." She smiled at the few still gathering around her,
"if we can pry these away
we may also have a few other children joining
us later but to warn you their ah, how do I say this a little different then
the others
well maybe after we get down there we they
might, I just have to get the other cubs
Ulisa nodded,
"We'll see...the quads are adamant about staying together
I nodded, and you know i believe your going to
meet the one who actually found the triplets and came to get me
Ulisa cocked a brow,
"a human?"
"Well she's not exactly human, she looks
it but isn't she's half Spectran and have Jupitian.
she didn't hurt the girls, and wouldn't try to
hurt anyone anyways
Ulisa just nodded, but she did move her arms,
revealing she did have a sword on her waist. "Habit'

plus if she did anything her mother would be sure that she didn't sit until
next winter.
Ulisa just said
simply, "Sorry...it's habit. I'll be nice but don't count on me getting
shimmy
I don't the kids love playing with these kids,
but their not human though
Ulisa just nodded
and walked out
taking hold of the group of infants two behind
and two in front I started to head out and follow every one to the lake
Ulisa kept a close
eye on her cubs. The quads refused to budge from her legs.
there she could see several human like
children with odd colored hair, playing with the cubs. "Ulisa the one over
there with the black hair is the one that came to get me telling me about the
girls." She could see that even her
cubs were havening a good time playing with some of these children
ulisa still walked
closer, keeping her eyes forever alert
"It's alright Ulisa, the kids are fine,
nothing will happen with them around.
I told her handing Chace to one of the girls,
Ulisa just sat down
on the grass, keep her hilt half out
"remember these children are only 8
there’ nothing they can really do anyways
Ulisa said simply,
"If there's one thing i've learned, it's to never underestimate. I'll be
nice, I'll be civil but i'm keeping my guard up
the smallest of the neo color kids, walked
over to Ulisa at this point and sits down right in front and hands her a yellow
rose. "My Mamma likes these, do you?"
Ulisa just turned
the rose over, "I suppose. I've seen far too much black in my life though
"I Sunlight," the child made a face,
"why you see black, we don't let that shade even near our home
ulisa sighed,
"I've seen a lot of pain Sunlight. The rainbow of colors didn't seem to
come near me a lot...sometimes, it still doesn;t
"Iris over there can make lots of
Rainbows if she practices enough anyways
Ulisa gave a faint
grin, "Tell her and her mom to come by myself in September then
"I will" Sunlihgt said before
kissing her cheek and running off to do that. I smiled, "That one's got a
lot of spunk doesn't she?
Ulisa smiled,
"I suppose'
"Miss Ulisa, she says okay, she do
that."
Ulisa merely nodded,
"It seems that that is the month I need the most color and all I ever get
is rain and sleet
Just then one of my cubs called out
"Mamma look at me!" Darcy was decked out in all shades of the rainbow
"She did that!"
Ulisa can't help it;
she falls onto her back, laughing
"I got sick of her attitude over
there" Iris said as she let another bout of colors at her fingertips
Darcy backed behind ulisa
Ulisa smiled, her
face red from the laughing
"Go play little ones," I told them
"There powers are still developing at the moment
Ulisa smirked, just
a bit.
"Aunt Ulisa, Mamma, Come see
Forest!"
Ulisa got up and
ran, immediately on guard
When we got there, the child had gotten
herself hung upside down over our heads by vines, by her under dress.
"Forest was practicing her powers"
Ulisa draws her
sword and severs the vines, causing the child to drop
Forest then walked over to the tree and kicks
it saying bad tree, as she did that the pain shot into her foot
Ulisa sheathed her
sword, "the tree won't respect you if you don't respect it
"That's what mamma always says"
"Sorry Ulisa I don't know what's gotten
into these kids, what do you say about getting these guys something to eat, or
we can let them play longer
It's true. My clan
is practically one with nature and they provide us with food, shelter, clothes
and medicine
"Can I be like that too?" Forest
asked, just as her sister walked over, "Oh brother,, now you've gone and
gave her a new idea"
Ulisa just had the
girl rub her clothing, "all that came from tree leaves
"Really? I'll be right back, Forest said
as she ran off. "What she up to now? the others asked Ulisa
Ulisa shrugged
Forest comes back in no time with nothing but
a bunch of leaves
"Oh brother” Ulisa shakes her head,
"little one...that isn't what I meant
"What do you mean?" Forest asked
with her hazel eyes looking up at her
We weave the leaves
into fabric
"Oh will you show me how?
Ulisa smiled,
"I suppose."
really? When?"
I took that moment to tell everyone that it
was time to eat
Ulisa smiled,
"let's eat first"
Forest made a face, but followed asking if she
could sit with her a bit
Ulisa tensed, a bit
but nodded
"Forest, go ahead and sit with the other
children for now Ulisa will talk with you in a little bit." she nodded
Ulisa watched the
little on scamper off. "Wild one that"
"You have no idea, you think she's bad,
just wait to meet her mother, their the ones who taught my cubs their pranks
Ulisa smirked a bit
"I don't doubt that...their inspiration had to come from somewhere
oh you haven't see anything though, there
mothers and father helped me way back when
Ulisa nodded,
"really?"
yeah anytime I needed someone cause I was too
lonely I could go to them and Iris, there, her mother would come everyday to
sit and talk no matter how busy she got
Ulisa nodded, again.
"They seem unique..."

earth, only Iris's father, but he's left his family and everything he had for
her and her mother
Ulisa nodded,
"my mother did similar...left her clan and heritage for my father

Alright well start with that one over there,
that's Rei, over there by Chace is Valerie, those ones over there with Sky and
Joy are Tangerine, and Aqua, that one over by the tree with Forest is Iris and Valentine, those
ones over there are Moonlight and Io and that one over there is Lightning,
Lightning looks like
a mischief maker
she is so is Tangerine, and Forest
ulisa chuckled,
"I figured THAT out"
"Those three are known for more mischief
than four Elliot’s together, i told her taking a bit of food

"Its true." I told her just as I
said something, Iris jumped up and fled to us screaming spider! big spider was
after her
Ulisa looked at
Selena, raised eyeb brow
"She hates spiders." I told her
getting up to go scold the girls for it
Ulisa, on an
impulse, scooped up the frightened girl
"They won't do that again Iris, I told
them they try that again that their mothers will be informed
Iris being content, leaned back in Ulisa's
arms
Ulisa smiled,
faintly, and rubbed through the girl's hair
Would you believe that this little girl will
rule her planet when she's older
Ulisa chuckled,
"will she now? I've seen odder things:

Ulisa smiled,
"I've seen a girl become a knight, seen a girl grow up to lead and become

"Wow! That’s a lot!" Iris said as a
stream of ribbon flew around from her own body
Ulisa chuckled,
"My kind lives 1000 years on average
"my kind rarely dies for some reason
"I'm
young" she chuckled, "and Selena here is a baby"
"She's not a baby! she an adult
Ulisa chuckled,
"I know...but in relative terms...if our kind lives 1000 years then 23 is
very young isn’t it?
"not really"
Ulisa chuckled,
"Never mind"
"It's getting a little late for those
girls anyways I have to send them on home
Ulisa nodded,
"they have families of their own
yes as well as work that they have to get
done."
Ulisa smiled at the
child in her arms
"I don't want to though, the work can be
done by my mother now, and I'll do it when I'm older
Ulisa smiled,
"how will you learn if you don't practice?"
"I don't want to learn." Iris said
as she got up and called to the others in her group, and formed the Rainbow
road
in front of Ulisa and all the cubs
Ulisa smiled,
"well, if anything, do it to please your mother
"I do most the time."
Ulisa smiled and
gave her a wink
Iris then waved at her as they all climbed
onto the rainbow and took off for home
Ulisa whistled,
"okay..._now_ I've seen everything
"What’s the matter?"

all over the world with one of those things
Ulisa chuckled,
"so that's what I hear when I see a rainbow
yeah most of the time anyways,
Ulisa smiled again
and drew her quads out to see it
"You know little ones, she can do neat
tricks with those things, if she wants, maybe we can get her to do that
sometime,
they just drew away
as if on cue a series of rainbow made a smiley
face then a heart then said bye
"Well I need to get younger ones inside,
the older can stay out and play longer, if you want to come with me
Ulisa chuckled,
"cute." She stood and nodded in reply
this way the house is a bit quiet before they
all come in for the night
a bit...you'll take

yeah. You do

"They are if you need help they're right
there all of them are one big family really, If you need anything their always
there ready to help
Ulisa chuckled,
"I'll keep that in mind
"why don't you and your children just
stay here for the night?"
"let them sleep out here under the stars,
Moonlight's mother will be out to keep watch
All right...I'm
staying too though
"that’s fine, their going to be up at the
house anyways cause I don't let them sleep that far from me
Ulisa smiled,
"a good idea probably...children typically need that
yeah, and I can't be to far cause of the
younger ones anyways
Ulisa chuckled,
"and _how_ many is that now?"

"you do realize you'll have terrible 2s and 4s all at once

yeah he took a chunk out of Kenya earlieryou

yes, he does it every time i turn around so
I've started to just swat him with a paddle and stick him into the corner
any results?

then send for them to go to bed

"Chaos has ventured out but I doubt these 4 are moving
I nodded would they want to sleep in doors our
