Hearing a loud crash
I ran though the halls to see what was going on, Kenya sat on her floor tears
in her eyes,
“I falled, Mama” I sighed and looked to see that her bookshelf
was laying on the floor, instead of standing. Even though I wasn’t to happy
with what she did I picked her up and held her, as I checked to see if she hurt
anything, seeing that she was fine, just scared. I started to scold her harsher
than the last time.
“That is why you
don’t climb on the bookshelf!” I told her making sure that she was looking at
me.
“I told you over and
over not to do that! Didn’t I?” She nodded and started to cry harder.
“Kenya Elisa, you
know better than that,” I took her out of her room and down the hall to the
living room and told her to sit again,
“But I hut now
Mamma!”
“Then you’ll
remember not to climb the next time. You have more than enough to play and
climb on.” She looked at me,
“Kenya the next time
you climb on that bookshelf, I’ll take it out of there is that understood?” She
nodded,
“Good, I’ll come get
you when your times up.” I told her as I left the room to tend to the other
children. And to get the shelf back up, deciding to make the shelf stick to the
wall.

In Ursalia Chace was sitting on Buddi’s bed staring at him and
grinning Ursa seeing this had to laugh he looked up at her and grinned even more.
“Di bye bye!” He said.
“Bye bye?” Ursa wondered as he said that. She was trying to
understand what he was saying. That’s when it hit her,
“Yes he’s sleeping
so why don’t you come with me and let him sleep.” She said trying to pick the
child up.
“No Di mine!” He told
her batting her hands away. “mine!” He said as he laid down on Buddi’s chest and closed his own eyes. Ursa
laughed again as she left the room. When she came back the tow were curled up
together sleeping soundly. Deciding that she’d be nice she let the two sleep.
At dinner Chace shook his head at everything that was giving to him,
not wanting it, Buddi cleared his throat and glared at the toddler, the toddler
stopped and opened his mouth taking the food from who was offering it to him. That’s
when it hit Buddi,
“Oh Gum! I’m
starting to act like Ursa!” he shouted turning red and looking straight at
Ursa, her response was,
“Well then you’ve
learned from the best then didn’t you.”
