“Ursa you look like you just gone through a war several times over what happened?” Buddi asked as he looked his mother over.

“”I got a quick reminder of what a sick or injured baby does all night, they don’t sleep. And they cling to you like you wouldn’t believe.” Buddi wanted to laugh but seeing her face stopped him dead in his tracks, he decided he would be nice and try to ‘help’ Ursa out a bit by telling her that he would watch the baby for a little while after all he liked Chace, how hard could it be? Seeing that this could be something that Buddi could learn from agreed. All could tell that the toddler was feeling much better now. He had Buddi running all over trying to make sure he didn’t get into anything he shouldn’t. by the time the child went down for a nap he was ready for one himself.

“Please don’t tell me I was that bad.” Buddi said as Gritti walked into the room.

“No you were worse!” Buddi winced; he leaned back for a time.

“You’re doing pretty well with it, Buddi, you should do it more often.” Buddi quickly shook his head, telling them that they were crazy if that was happening. By that time Ursa walked in.

“Where’s the baby?”

“He’s sleeping Ursa.” Buddi told her. Adding the word “finally”

“Buddi managed to take care of him by himself did pretty good, too. He’s just about as good as someone else I know.” Buddi noticed Ursa turning red in the face a bit.

“Get back here, Chace!” Buddi called out as he chased the child around the room diaper in hand.  It was the first time that he’s done this, and had been trying for a good fifteen minutes or so. As he got the toddler on his back again the toddler slipped out of his grasp and took off again. Wondering what was going on Ursa headed into the room, and as soon as she opened the door, a half naked Chace ran out the door. Buddi glared at Ursa,

“You had to open the door didn’t you? Now I’ll never catch him!” Buddi told her as he started out the door again. She had to laugh at the sight of this. About a good ten minutes later he managed to get the baby’s pants back on. As soon as Buddi had gotten the task done, Buddi turned to Ursa and said,

“I’m not doing that again!” Ursa laughed at her child’s response.

“You think he was bad, you were worse”

“Don’t tell me that!”  Buddi said turning red in the face.
