“Mamma! Mamma!” I ran into
the room to where the shouting was thinking someone was hurt or something,
“What is it?”
“Chyanne, just spoke a bit of
common!” Joy told me grinning, she told Cyanne to
stop it, cause she was picking on her.” I turned to Chyanne, and picked her up and asked her to say it for me.
She just sat there and said nothing. I sighed. As I held her
for a bit more. Before Chace
started to cry. He was letting me know that he was up from his nap,
going in there I had to laugh the toddler had managed to get his foot stuck in
the railing of the crib somehow, I just looked at him and said,
“I’m not asking, Chace” He let out this blood curling scream as I tried to
get it out of the bar.
“Whats
wrong?” I asked starting to panic a bit. I was trying to figure out what was
wrong with my baby. I tried again, seeing that I couldn’t get it out of there,
I called for Timmy, and told him to go to Ursaila and
get Ursa tell her what was going on. Without question the child ran out the
house.
In what seemed like
hours, the two returned.
“I have no idea how
he did this, the only thing I can think of is that he tried to climb it, he’s
hit tha climbing stage already.” Ursa nodded as she
snapped the rail off with just her hands, and lifted the still screaming child
up. She looked over the foot that had been stuck, and said that she was going
to take him back with her, that she thinks that Grubbi should take a look at
it, not about to argue, I told her I was going to come with them. She nodded
and waited as I told the older set of children what was going on and that I
should be back before to long.
Grubbi knitted his
brow as he gave the cub
a good look over, and telling me that it was just a bad sprain.
Sighing with relief that he hadn’t broken, it I took him back into my arms and
held him close.
“If you don’t mind I
wouldn’t mind having him here again for a little while just for a few days.”
Ursa said I agreed to let him stay there. And handed him back. To Ursa he grinned at seeing her face
again. I knew that he liked her for some reason. I noticed that from the side of the room
Buddi was giving Ursa some type of glare.
I knew a hint of jealousy was about to strike big time.
