“Kenya Elisa what in
the world are you doing!” I asked as I ran into her
bedroom to stop her from getting hurt.
“I
climbing up there!” She pointed to the top of her bookshelf while she
hung to one of the shelves. Setting her down I gave her a hard smack, and
turned her towards me,
“DON’T YOU EVER DO
ANYTHING LIKE THAT AGAIN!” I scolded as I gave her
several more
“Don’t you realize
that you could have gotten hurt?” I asked before continuing,
“You could have
fallen.” I told her leading her to a
corner of her room and telling her to stay there that I would be back to get
her. Heading out of the room I sighed
what away to start the day.
“Shanda what’s
that?”
“A
rocket!” She said climbing
back into the pile of pillows, where there was more than one’s laughter, I
noted that Skyla, Elliot, and Tanni were playing in
there as well. How all four were in that
tight space was beyond me. I had to laugh as I walked
passed. Seeing Elliot’s pant leg, I gave it a quick tug he gave a sqeel
as I did that. He looked out,
“Mamma!”
“Mamma
what? Didn’t do anything,
it was Sky.”
“I did not it was
you.” She said grinning as she came out of her hiding place. And climbed into my lap and leaned against me
as the other three also climbed up.
“Now hold on I don’t
think this chair can hold all of,… us.” Just as I said that the thing started
to creek I managed to get all of us up in time some how.
“I’m sorry Mamma, we
didn’t”
“It’s alright, Tanni it's old and can be fixed I’m just glad that none of
you were hurt.” As I was talking to the children, I could hear someone scolding
someone eles and they seemed as if they could spit
fire.
“Mamma, my sister
was climbing,…”
“Oh please don’t
tell me,”
“Kenya you got in
trouble for that already, didn’t you?” She nodded her head as I lead her to
where the stool sat before having her sit I added a swat to her backside
telling her that it would happen again if she climbed that thing again, and
told her to stay on that stool until I let her up.
