“Mamma!” I heard Skyla calling me, but had my hands
full with two screaming infants so I figured that she could come to me.
“I can’t!”
“Then you don’t need
me.”
“Yes I do!”
“MAMMA
HELP!”
“Oh Skyla, this had
better be good” Walking into the kitchen, looking around I couldn’t see where
she was at.
“I’m up here!”
Turning to the fridge I had to laugh at the sigh of this little pink cub
hanging from the corner of the thing.
“Skyla
Videl how in the world did you get yourself like
that.”
“I fell.”
“Know you know why I
tell not to climb on this.” I told her as I took her down and set her on the
floor, after talking to her about the other dangers of climbing onto the
fridge. I led her to the corner in the living room with the stool in it. I told
her what I always do. She nodded. As I added this fridge business is going to
stop and it was going to stop that moment. I wasn’t about to let one of the
children get hurt for something like that.
“Watch OUT!” I
jumped out of the way just in time to see Elliot and Shanda flying past in what
seemed to be in sheets.
“We won Mamma!”
“Oh
really! What you when?”
“Nothing but we
won.”
“We were racing with
Miles,” Elliot answered
“Who’s Miles?”
“My friend that’s
right here?” Thinking for a minute I caught on,
“But he was Being
mean Mamma, he tried to cheat, I told him he not to do that.” He told me glaring at his side a bit.
“He’s fun though
Mamma,” Shanda told me. He even got us Ice cream.” That stopped me cold,
“You didn’t have any
real ice cream did you?”
“The kind Miles
likes.” The both answered as one. I just sighed and told them to go play with
their new friend.
