Chace would you stop?” Buddi asked trying to get away from the toddler. The child thinking that the gentle shoves away was a game headed back and started tickling Buddi, and jumping on him again. Ursa sighed, and said,

“Buddi if you want him to stop, get up off the floor to do what you were doing.”  Buddi just glared at Ursa with that look that said to stop making since. She laughed as Grubbi came in and told them it was lunch was ready. Ursa tried to pick the child up but the toddler pushed her hands away and reached for Buddi’s.

“What did I do kid?” He asked as he picked him up and carried Chace to the kitchen.

Ursa and Buddi both gave Grubbi a glare at the meal; it was something in some type of sauce.

“Grubbi, I don’t mean to complain but we have a toddler present at the moment, do you realize what kind of mess he will make if you give him that?”

“Yeah and we’re in your kitchen.” Buddi told him.

Once finished Buddi looked at the toddler then at Ursa pleading eyes, she leaned over to him.

“Just run.” Hearing what Ursa was saying, Buddi took off like there was no tomorrow out that door, and past the gates he was ready to play by himself for a bit. Sure he liked Chace but he was driving him crazy at this moment.

Ursa seen Buddi from here she was standing,

*perfect,* she thought to herself. She had made sure that Gritti was watching the baby for a time. Then headed out to find Buddi, he never once seen her in the trees before she came flying down. Before he had a chance to react she wrestled him to the ground and started tickling like made until he could barely contain himself. Tears were falling from the cubs eyes from laughing so hard.  As soon as Ursa slowed a bit, Buddi took advantage and took revenge.

“Now your not supposed to attack your mother Buddi,” She said pinning him back and playing around with him some more. Before the two wore themselves out. After the wild play Ursa let Buddi crawl into her laop and rest, something he hadn’t done in awhile.

Ursa leaned against the tree that was behind them and closed her own eyes thinking, Buddi had already fallen asleep long ago. Seeing his leader and Buddi like this Grubbi never bothered to wake them for one this was rare and another he didn’t want to face Ursa for waking her like that. So the two slept through the night just mother and son.
