“I’m eight today Mamma!” Timmy yelled charging into my room excited. Opening my eyes I could tell that the sun was just starting to rise, I looked at my son.

“That’s wonderful isn’t it? Now I want you to go back to your room and lay in your bed for a little bit longer.” I told him leading him out of the room and to his room. I picked him up and put him back in his bed, as soon as he was laying down he had fallen back to sleep.  I had to laugh a bit, at his child like excitement. Kissing his head I took off back to my own bed for a bit.

“Mamma, can I get up now?” I looked to see Timmy’s eyes peering into the room slowly,

“I guess you can, just play quietly for a bit though the others are still sleeping and I don’t want them up yet. He nodded as he headed out the door and to his personal room, where I assumed he was going to be training for a bit.

When I checked on him an hour later, I was right boy was he doing good, I had no idea how he had learned it, but he did and was amazing, I shrugged it off and asked him if he wanted to help me with breakfast. He nodded. As he raced to the kitchen. I smiled at I watched him busy himself around the kitchen getting everything together.

Once everyone had eaten Timmy looked up at me,

“Is it time yet?”

“Not until after dinner, Sweetheart why don’t you and the others go outside and play in the snow a bit, while you wait for the time to go by.”  The boy’s eyes went wide as he bundled up and took off out the door. The others followed, That would give me more than enough time to get some things done, they had all been needing to get out doors for a little while now. I had to laugh at Timmy’s popping his head in the door repeatedly asking if it was time yet. I couldn’t blame him, and I knew it was just because of the special occasion that was going on.

Later that night, when I thought everyone had gone to bed, I could hear something coming from Timmy’s personal room.

“Timmy, your getting pretty good at that thing. He grinned at me for a moment before asking me if I wanted to try I simply told him that if I did it would go straight out the window or something. He laughed a bit and shot again, almost a direct hit.  I could tell that he was getting tired. And needed to get to bed so I called him over to me.

“Timmy, let’s go ahead and put those up for tonight, and you can do them again in the morning. Its getting late and you need to get to bed for right now.” He nodded and did ask asked not even thinking about it and headed to his room. Seeing to it that he managed to get there alright.
