“Hi Mamma look here! Lookie at what I found!” I turned it had turned out to be a rather warm day for winter so I had decided to put the laundry out side to dry instead. I turned to see what Joy was talking gout, a child green and white appeared in out of the bushes.

“Hi sweetheart”

“Ma’am”

“You don’t have to call me that, you can just call me Selena.” The child nodded she beyond dirty and looked really undernourished. I looked to my daughter, and told her to get this child something to eat, bring her as much bread, and milk that she could bring her, and tell Darcy to put some more food out for the child. She nodded and ran, to do as asked. I pulled the little one to me. But she pulled away.

“What’s your name?”

“Peace.”

“What a pretty name I like that.”

“You do, everyone likes to tease it. She said timidly. As she seen the food come to her, I told her to eat as much as she wanted, and told her that she could add the jam that was also brought out to her. .She ate like there was no tomorrow, as well as drank.

“You want more milk little one?” She just nodded and drank as much as she could hold her little sides started to bugle out a bit. I asked Joy to go get me a blanket. She just nodded and did so. I could see the child was tired and wanted to sleep.

“Miss Selena, I know this is weird, but can I sit in your lap?”

“Sure sweetie. I don’t mind. In fact, you don’t have to ask you can just do it.” the child nodded and climbed into my lap, she was there just as Joy had come back with the blanket I wrapped the child and headed inside after seeing she had fallen asleep.

I headed to the communicator and contacted Ulisa and told her what Joy had found in the bushes outside.

“What are you a child magnet?”

“I guess so. Why you ask that?”

“Call it a hunch. What's she look like?”

“White body green hair, her name’s Peace I believe she’s a Glen she was real undernourished when I got a hold of her she’s really dirty but other than that I see nothing wrong with her. I’ll send her to the agency to get her registered as soon as the weather brakes longer here. “

“That’s fine.” She told me before we disconnected, just in time too cause the little girl woke crying a bit.

“Hi Peace, I bet you were tired weren’t you?” She nodded as I pulled her to my lap.

“You hungry?” I asked; she nodded again I then picked her up and carried her out to get her some more to eat.

“Peace where are your parents?”

“I don’t know its been along time since I seen them.  I was stuck in a Gummi Slave Camp awhile ago. But when it was raided and we were all set free I ran.” As she spoke several of the children came in for dinner themselves.

“Peace I’d like you to met some of my children. That’s Skyla, and that one’s Kenya, and that’s,…

“CYANNA! CYANNA!” the child yelled running to the girl hugging and crying.

“This is where you ended up.”

“Yeah mamma took us after we were stuck in a tree for awhile. She and some others are the ones who destroyed that camp.”

“She is?” Cyanne nodded as she sat down and told her friend to eat dinner.
