I headed into the
house of the Glens with my three cubs, to my surprise who I thought would be
with Plucki wasn’t and his eyes grew wide as he started to glare at Skyla.
Gruffi and Grammi walked out to greet us,
“What SHE doing
here?” he asked pointing to Sky. Of course I didn’t blame him for being angry.
“There here do visit
us just as you are, Cubbi dear.”
“I’m not staying
here if SHE’S here!” he told the others as he started walking off. Gruffi
grabbed hold of the cub reminding him that Plucki had told him to stay there until he
had come to get him.
“Fine I’LL be in my
room.” the boy yelled slamming the door.
“What was that all
about?”
“I know,” I answered
glaring down at my daughter knowing that she had cause a lot of problems when
she had been here a few weeks before, and he was still mad at her for. Elliot
clung to me as I talked to the others, until Sunni came up and asked him if he
wanted to go play. He nodded and took off.
“Sunni, just to warn
you he gets a little crazy at times,”
“Yeah hide all your
clothing that you don’t want seen.” Skyla spoke up from beside me.
“You can come two.”
Sky shook her head and sat on my lap, Grammi had already taken the baby from me
for a little while. She held her for a time, before Zummi took her, and Grammi
thought it was time. She held up a sailor costume for Elliot to try on.
I called him out,
and had him go put it on, and Grammi went to fetch Cubbi and tell him to put
his on as well.
“Is SHE still out
there?”
“Yes, she is but I
need you out here.” Cubbi headed to the drawer to get it out. After heading
back into the room where I had been sitting Grammi held one out for Skyla as
well only hers was a skirt, instead of shorts, I encouraged her to go put it
on. She nodded and ran to do so.
Just as we thought,
when Elliot Ixavior stepped out in that little suite
he looked just like Cubbi, He looked at Grammi and asked for a cookie looking
at her with his eyes looking up, at her.
“I never could get
passed that type of look.” She told me as she got the jar down for all the
children. She called again to Cubbi, who refused to come out. That’s when
Gruffi called something to him, Cubbi shuffled his
feet as he walked out. I took the time to look at Skyla,
“I think this is a
good time for you to apologize to Cubbi for getting him into that trouble, a
couple weeks ago.” Sky walked over to him and looked at him with what looked like
Cubbi and Elliot’s own little eye trick and did as she was told. Cubbi looked
away from her, trying not to look at her it was failing miserably.
“Fine, I forgive you
but I’m still not playing with you.”
“Kay.” She answered
and gave him a peck on the cheek.
“EW! GROSS!” He yelled running to his bedroom to
the wash pan trying to rid himself of the girly germs that were left behind.
