“Good Morning Chace!” I said as I picked the toddler up out of bed,

“You’re a big boy today aren’t you?” I asked him as I went about getting him changed, and  dressed, I was talking to him like that cause today was his first birthday. I was loving it myself even if he didn’t understand it himself. I knew that he knew that something was up though. It was hard to believe that I had gotten this kid back in September. I was only suppose to pick up a set of twins, but I came back with three babies instead of two, not that I was arguing or complaining I wouldn’t change that fact for anything in the world. I was happy with it.

“You want to play for a bit?” I asked him as I set him on the living room floor, so that I could get things together.

“DI!” Chace cried out as he ran to the door seeing Buddi standing there. He raised his hands to the older cub, wanting to be held. Buddi listened to the child and held him close, He looked to Ursa who was standing ther smiling at him, she thought of it as amusing that this child loved hers so. Deciding she couldn’t take it, she reached her  hands out to him

‘No I DI’s!” He told her clinging to Buddi.

“That’s fine, there’s more than enough to go around, I’ll just hold one of them.” She told him picking up Rei in the process. Seeing her sister being held, Scarlet sat at Ursa’s feet and started to cry. Ursa turned to me puzzled,

“They’re going through this you can’t do anything with just one of us, its both or none at all.” Ursa nodded understanding what I had told her. She held them close as I put Scarlet into her other hand. We spent the afternoon watching the toddler play with the gifts around him, as well as Buddi, and his siblings.

Once the two had left I turned to see if I could find my son, I found him sleeping in the pile of stuffed animals that he had just gotten, still covered in his cake, I had gotten smart, and had made one just for him, and one that the rest of use could eat. I had to laugh at him though he looked so cute, all that stuff all over him, and his thumb in his mouth. After just taking a rag to him I put him into his crib for the rest of the night, I had to laugh, tomarrow I get to do some of this again. It would be Timmy’s turn.

As soon as my foot hit the last step, I turned to the younger groups, Kenya, Cyanne, Chyanne, and Melody your turn for bed is in about an hour, go make sure you have everything gathered up and put away, and get your night clothes on. Kenya glared at me, this was the time she normally gave me trouble, I looked at her sternly, but gently.

“I don’t want a fight, you do that, you’ll go to bed early tomarrow nigh, now go do as I told you.” She nodded and ran off. I had a while ago found that it made it easyer if I sent them to bed. First it was the babies, then it was the 3 and four year olds, then the 5 and six year olds, then seven to nine, then ten and over. The children didn’t really seem to mind it, cause then they got to see as they got older that they could stay up a little longer, not to much but still got to. Seeing that group’s time was up. I headed to that area of the house to put them to bed, Kenya was sitting on the floor, and hadn’t gotten herself changed or anything, she was playing.

“What are you doing  Kenya? I thought I told you to get ready for bed.” She looked up at me as she up the toy behind her. I put  my hand out and told her to hand it to me, she lost the privlage of playing with that one for a bit. Seeing that I wasn’t playing she handed it to me, and did as I had asked awhile ago.

“That’s a lot better, Thank you.” I told her as I tucked her in and headed to the triplets area. The rest of the night went without problems.
