“Hi
Mamma!” The two cubs yelled
as they climbed into my lap and cuddled close.
“Did the two of you
have fun?”
“We sure did! Cuddi fun Mamma!” Skyla squealed as she bounced around on
my lap a bit.”
“Is he now?” I asked staring at the
very active little girl. She nodded.
“Mamma, I want to
train to!” I looked to my son,
“Say what?”
“I want to do what
Cubbi does and fight to! He good. I want to do it.”
Plucki knelt down to the cub,
“It takes a lot of
work, and its not always fun.”
“I could make it
fun, Pucki, I could, I
could!” Plucki looked to me as the cub kept pleading,
“We’ll see, Elliot.”
I told him gently. He pulled away from me,
“But I want to
Mamma!”
“I said we’ll see
Elliot Ixavior, knowing that his full name was rarely
used Elliot stopped and stared at me.
“I
sorry, Mamma.” I just
nodded and said.
“Let’s just make
today a good day alright, the others have been pretty good, so let’s see if we
can kept it up,” Elliot let out a sigh as he stomped out of the room.
“Excuse me Plucki, I
think someone’s in need of a nap, I’ll be right back. Understanding he shook
his head.
“I don’t want a
nap!”
“Elliot Ixavior Walker I don’t like this attitude your showing me
right now, and if your wanting to be a knight, that’s not the way to do it!
Your about to get yourself into more trouble than you could ask for, so I
suggest that you climb into that bed of yours and lie down for a spell.”
“but
I’m not tired.” I sighed and put him into his bed,
“Now, if you get out
of this bed, I promise you that I will tan your hide.” I warned as I walked out of the room.
“Sorry about that,”
I apologized as I picked Skyla up and held her close to me. Plucki just nodded
and headed out the door.
