“Mine Timba! Go get your own!”

“I don’t have to! I can do what I want!”

“Who says!

“Me!” I could hear the shouting from the other side of the house, I and I was clear over where Darcy, and the other older girl’s room were. I walked into the room to see Cyanne, and Timmy both fighting over something. Seeing that one of them had an entire container of ice cream they weren’t suppose to have with it being so close to dinner.  Frowning at the both of them, I took the stuff and put it back into the freezer, and wasn’t even going to say anything, figured I could over look it this once. Just then Cyanne stormed out of the room stomping her foot as she went. I sighed, lately she had been starting to show her temper. And really starting to relax, Melody had been doing the same as well, but not as much, and Chyanne, I knew had a long ways to go before she even started to show anything about herself in that area. She seemed more content to be babied than to argue, or fight. Which is fine with me of course. As I thought of Chyanne, she came walking into the room asking to be held. Complying I picked her up before starting the rest of my work. Chyanne tapped my cheek, then pointed to where Elliot was sitting, with the most mischievous look I had ever seen,

“What did you do this time, Elliot?”

“I didn’t do anything.”

“Then what’s up with that grin of yours.” The little boy’s eyes lit up more,

“I don’t know what your talking about, Mamma.” Picking up that he was just playing around, I sent him off to do something else, cause that look still made me a little bit more on my toes. Chyanne and I started again with the dinner that looked like enough to feed an army, I decided that this spring, I would head to town and get a  second stove, so that the cooking would take a little less time. I knew I would have to take at least Chyanne, and Skyla with me, but the others I wasn’t sure, unless by some miracle that it would only be Sukura. But I was doubting that.

I went to put Anna down, she started to whimper as I did so,

“I’ll pick you back up in a minute, I need to get the stuff into that oven.” I said trying to reassure her. I was amazed I had never seen anyone this clingy, especially a Barbic. I knew it might have something to do with that dream she had a couple days ago. What ever happened must have been dreadful. I just wish that she could tell me. I know she understands most common now, but still can’t speak it either that or she chooses not to.  No more that the second that I had shut the door, Chyanne was begging to be picked up again. I agreed and did what she wanted. I had been doing a lot of what all three have been asking, trying to build what ever trust had been stolen when they were back at those camps.  Sitting down with the little girl, I could hear shouting again, and this time it sounded more serous than the last one I had broken up. I could hear a third voice this time joining, as I walked in to see what was going on.

“Please Cy, stop he’s not worth it.” Melody called out to her sister who already had her older brother on the floor with her knee in his gut. In away I thought Ursa might have been impressed with this little girl’s strength

“But he called me a skunk! For that he will pay!” The little girl said with her eyes ready to fire at anytime.

“He will not Cyanne!” I spoke sternly getting the attention to all who was involved.  “Timmy, you know better than to pick on your sisters, you have now have to go to bed without your dinner. Go on and start getting ready.” I told him pointing in the direction to his room.

Cyanne, I don’t want to seem mean, but I want you also to go on to bed,”

She headed to get her sisters,

“No they don’t have to go to bed yet,  they didn’t get into trouble, you did.” I pointed out to her, she didn’t to understand what I mean. As soon as I started to put Cheyenne back down she started her protesting again,

“Hold on Baby, I’ll pick you a back up in a few minutes.”  Then picked up Cyanine, and took her into the bathroom, and told her to do the things she normally did at bedtime. Then took her into her room and set her in her bed,

“Now I want you to stay there, don’t get up until morning.” She stared at me for a few, to show her that I still cared for her I gave her a hug before heading out of the room, and heading to Timmy’s to do the same. And as I headed that way I stepped in something that felt sticky, and slimy at the same time, I could hear Elliot laughing from his hiding spot.

“Elliot Xavier you little Rascal! I thought you said you weren’t up to anything.” He pulled his head out so that I could see him. With a look that I could tell he thought he was in trouble.

“I’m not mad, just taken by sup prize that’s all.” I told him ruffling his hair a bit before heading to Timmy.
